CVE-2023-54072 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: pcm: Fix potential data race at PCM memory allocation helpers The PCM memory allocation helpers have a sanity check against too many buffer allocations. However, the check is performed without a proper lock and the allocation isn't serialized; this allows user to allocate more memories than predefined max size. Practically seen, this isn't really a big problem, as it's more or less some "soft limit" as a sanity check, and it's not possible to allocate unlimitedly. But it's still better to address this for more consistent behavior. The patch covers the size check in do_alloc_pages() with the card->memory_mutex, and increases the allocated size there for preventing the further overflow. When the actual allocation fails, the size is decreased accordingly.

CVE-2023-54113 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rcu: dump vmalloc memory info safely Currently, for double invoke call_rcu(), will dump rcu_head objects memory info, if the objects is not allocated from the slab allocator, the vmalloc_dump_obj() will be invoke and the vmap_area_lock spinlock need to be held, since the call_rcu() can be invoked in interrupt context, therefore, there is a possibility of spinlock deadlock scenarios. CVE-2023-54118 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: serial: sc16is7xx: setup GPIO controller later in probe The GPIO controller component of the sc16is7xx driver is setup too early, which can result in a race condition where another device tries to utilise the GPIO lines before the sc16is7xx device has finished initialising. The error handling has also been reordered to reflect the new initialisation order.
CVE-2023-54143 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: mediatek: vcodec: fix resource leaks in vdec_msg_queue_init() If we encounter any error in the vdec_msg_queue_init() then we need to set "msg_queue->wdma_addr.size = 0;". Normally, this is done inside the vdec_msg_queue_deinit() function. However, if the first call to allocate &msg_queue->wdma_addr fails, then the vdec_msg_queue_deinit() function is a no-op. For that situation, just set the size to zero explicitly and return. There were two other error paths which did not clean up before returning. Change those error paths to goto mem_alloc_err.
CVE-2023-54172 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: x86/hyperv: Disable IBT when hypercall page lacks ENDBR instruction On hardware that supports Indirect Branch Tracking (IBT), Hyper-V VMs with ConfigVersion 9.3 or later support IBT in the guest. However, current versions of Hyper-V have a bug in that there's not an ENDBR64 instruction at the beginning of the hypercall page. Since hypercalls are made with an indirect call to the hypercall page, all hypercall attempts fail with an exception and Linux panics. A Hyper-V fix is in progress to add ENDBR64. But guard against the Linux panic by clearing X86_FEATURE_IBT if the hypercall page doesn't start with ENDBR. The VM will boot and run without IBT. If future Linux 32-bit kernels were to support IBT, additional hypercall page hackery would be needed to make IBT work for such kernels in a Hyper-V VM.

In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: debugobjects: Don't wake up kswapd from fill_pool() syzbot is reporting a lockdep warning in fill_pool() because the allocation from debugobjects is using GFP_ATOMIC, which is (__GFP_HIGH | __GFP_KSWAPD_RECLAIM) and therefore tries to wake up kswapd, which acquires kswapd_wait::lock. Since fill_pool() might be called with arbitrary locks held, fill_pool() should not assume that acquiring kswapd_wait::lock is safe. Use __GFP_HIGH instead and remove __GFP_NORETRY as it is pointless for !__GFP_DIRECT_RECLAIM allocation.
CVE-2023-54288 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: wifi: mac80211: fortify the spinlock against deadlock by interrupt In the function ieee80211_tx_dequeue() there is a particular locking sequence: begin: spin_lock(&local->queue_stop_reason_lock); q_stopped = local->queue_stop_reasons[q]; spin_unlock(&local->queue_stop_reason_lock); However small the chance (increased by ftracetest), an asynchronous interrupt can occur in between of spin_lock() and spin_unlock(), and the interrupt routine will attempt to lock the same &local->queue_stop_reason_lock again. This will cause a costly reset of the CPU and the wifi device or an altogether hang in the single CPU and single core scenario. The only remaining spin_lock(&local->queue_stop_reason_lock) that did not disable interrupts was patched, which should prevent any deadlocks on the same CPU/core and the same wifi device. CVE-2023-54294 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: fix memleak of md thread In raid10_run(), if setup_conf() succeed and raid10_run() failed before setting 'mddev->thread', then in the error path 'conf->thread' is not freed. Fix the problem by setting 'mddev->thread' right after setup_conf().
CVE-2023-54296 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: KVM: SVM: Get source vCPUs from source VM for SEV-ES intrahost migration Fix a goof where KVM tries to grab source vCPUs from the destination VM when doing intrahost migration. Grabbing the wrong vCPU not only hoses the guest, it also crashes the host due to the VMSA pointer being left NULL. CVE-2025-12779 2 Amazon, Linux 2 Workspaces, Linux 2026-04-15 8.8 High
Improper handling of the authentication token in the Amazon WorkSpaces client for Linux, versions 2023.0 through 2024.8, may expose the authentication token for DCV-based WorkSpaces to other local users on the same client machine. Under certain circumstances, a local user may be able to extract another local user's authentication token from the shared client machine and access their WorkSpace. To mitigate this issue, users should upgrade to the Amazon WorkSpaces client for Linux version 2025.0 or later.
CVE-2025-20093 2 Intel, Linux 2 Ethernet 800 Series Software, Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 8.2 High
Improper check for unusual or exceptional conditions in the Linux kernel-mode driver for some Intel(R) 800 Series Ethernet before version 1.17.2 may allow an authenticated user to potentially enable escalation of privilege via local access.
CVE-2025-23282 2 Linux, Nvidia 3 Linux, Display Driver, Driver 2026-04-15 7 High
NVIDIA Display Driver for Linux contains a vulnerability where an attacker might be able to use a race condition to escalate privileges. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution, escalation of privileges, data tampering, denial of service, and information disclosure.
