| CVE-2026-64047 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: tls: fix off-by-one in sg_chain entry count for wrapped sk_msg ring When an sk_msg scatterlist ring wraps (sg.end < sg.start), tls_push_record() chains the tail portion of the ring to the head using sg_chain(). An extra entry in the sg array is reserved for this: struct sk_msg_sg { [...] /* The extra two elements: * 1) used for chaining the front and sections when the list becomes * partitioned (e.g. end < start). The crypto APIs require the * chaining; * 2) to chain tailer SG entries after the message. */ struct scatterlist data[MAX_MSG_FRAGS + 2]; The current code uses MAX_SKB_FRAGS + 1 as the ring size: sg_chain(&msg_pl->sg.data[msg_pl->sg.start], MAX_SKB_FRAGS - msg_pl->sg.start + 1, msg_pl->sg.data); This places the chain pointer at sg_chain(data[start], (MAX_SKB_FRAGS - msg_start + 1) .. = &data[start] + (MAX_SKB_FRAGS - msg_start + 1) - 1 = data[start + (MAX_SKB_FRAGS - start + 1) - 1] = data[MAX_SKB_FRAGS] instead of the true last entry. This is likely due to a "race" of the commit under Fixes landing close to commit 031097d9e079 ("bpf: sk_msg, zap ingress queue on psock down") Convert to ARRAY_SIZE and drop the data[start] / - start (as suggested by Sabrina). | ||||
| CVE-2026-64048 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 7.5 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net/smc: reject CHID-0 ACCEPT that matches an empty ism_dev slot On the SMC-D client, slot 0 of ini->ism_dev[]/ini->ism_chid[] is reserved for an SMC-Dv1 device. smc_find_ism_v2_device_clnt() populates V2 entries starting at index 1, so when no V1 device is selected slot 0 is left in its kzalloc()'ed state with ism_dev[0] == NULL and ism_chid[0] == 0. smc_v2_determine_accepted_chid() then matches the peer's CHID against the array starting from index 0 using the CHID alone. A malicious peer replying to a SMC-Dv2-only proposal with d1.chid == 0 matches the empty slot, ini->ism_selected becomes 0, and the subsequent ism_dev[0]->lgr_lock dereference in smc_conn_create() faults at offsetof(struct smcd_dev, lgr_lock) == 0x68: BUG: KASAN: null-ptr-deref in _raw_spin_lock_bh+0x79/0xe0 Write of size 4 at addr 0000000000000068 by task exploit/144 Call Trace: _raw_spin_lock_bh smc_conn_create (net/smc/smc_core.c:1997) __smc_connect (net/smc/af_smc.c:1447) smc_connect (net/smc/af_smc.c:1720) __sys_connect __x64_sys_connect do_syscall_64 Require ism_dev[i] to be non-NULL before accepting a CHID match. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/adreno: fix userspace-triggered crash on a2xx-a4xx Before a5xx Adreno driver will not try fetching UBWC params (because those generations didn't support UBWC anyway), however it's still possible to query UBWC-related params from the userspace, triggering possible NULL pointer dereference. Check for UBWC config in adreno_get_param() and return sane defaults if there is none. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/717778/ | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/msm/dpu: don't mix devm and drmm functions Mixing devm and drmm functions will result in a use-after-free on msm driver teardown if userspace keeps a reference on the drm device: The WB connector data will be destroyed because of the use of devm_kzalloc()), while the usersoace still can try interacting with the WB connector (which uses drmm_ functions). Change dpu_writeback_init() to use drmm_. Patchwork: https://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/722656/ | ||||
| CVE-2026-64051 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: accel/qaic: Add overflow check to remap_pfn_range during mmap The call to remap_pfn_range in qaic_gem_object_mmap is susceptible to (re)mapping beyond the VMA if the BO is too large. This can cause use after free issues when munmap() unmaps only the VMA region and not the additional mappings. To prevent this, check the remaining size of the VMA before remapping and truncate the remapped length if sg->length is too large. [jhugo: fix braces from checkpatch --strict] | ||||
| CVE-2026-64052 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 5.5 Medium |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: bio-integrity: Fix null-ptr-deref in bio_integrity_map_user() pin_user_pages_fast() can partially succeed and return the number of pages that were actually pinned. However, the bio_integrity_map_user() does not handle this partial pinning. This leads to a general protection fault since bvec_from_pages() dereferences an unpinned page address, which is 0. To fix this, add a check to verify that all requested memory is pinned. If partial pinning occurs, unpin the memory and return -EFAULT. | CVE-2026-64053 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: block: don't overwrite bip_vcnt in bio_integrity_copy_user() bio_integrity_add_page() already sets bip_vcnt to 1 for the bounce segment. Overwriting it with nr_vecs breaks bip_vcnt <= bip_max_vcnt on WRITE (bip_max_vcnt is 1), so the gap-merge checks in block/blk.h read past the bip_vec[] flex array. On READ the read is in bounds but lands on a saved user bvec instead of the bounce. The line was added for split propagation, but bio_integrity_clone() doesn't copy bip_vcnt and BIP_CLONE_FLAGS excludes BIP_COPY_USER. | ||||

| CVE-2026-53153 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-09-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/list_lru: drain before clearing xarray entry on reparent memcg_reparent_list_lrus() clears the dying memcg's xarray entry with xas_store(&xas, NULL) before reparenting its per-node lists into the parent. This opens a window where a concurrent list_lru_del() arriving for the dying memcg sees xa_load() == NULL, walks to the parent in lock_list_lru_of_memcg(), takes the parent's per-node lock, and calls list_del_init() on an item still physically linked on the dying memcg's list. If another in-flight thread holds the dying memcg's per-node lock at the same moment (another list_lru_del, or a list_lru_walk_one running an isolate callback), both threads modify ->next/->prev pointers on the same physical list under different locks. Adjacent items can corrupt each other's links. Fix it by reversing the order: reparent each per-node list and mark the child's list lru dead and then clear the xarray entry. Any concurrent list_lru op that finds the still-set xarray entry either takes the dying memcg's per-node lock (synchronizing with the drain) or sees LONG_MIN and walks to the parent, where the items now live. | ||||
| CVE-2025-68781 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | N/A |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: phy: fsl-usb: Fix use-after-free in delayed work during device removal The delayed work item otg_event is initialized in fsl_otg_conf() and scheduled under two conditions: 1. When a host controller binds to the OTG controller. 2. When the USB ID pin state changes (cable insertion/removal). A race condition occurs when the device is removed via fsl_otg_remove(): the fsl_otg instance may be freed while the delayed work is still pending or executing. This leads to use-after-free when the work function fsl_otg_event() accesses the already freed memory. The problematic scenario: (detach thread) | (delayed work) fsl_otg_remove() | kfree(fsl_otg_dev) //FREE| fsl_otg_event() | og = container_of(...) //USE | og-> //USE Fix this by calling disable_delayed_work_sync() in fsl_otg_remove() before deallocating the fsl_otg structure. This ensures the delayed work is properly canceled and completes execution prior to memory deallocation. This bug was identified through static analysis. | ||||

| CVE-2026-74753 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: perf: Reject exited events as group leaders perf_event_remove_on_exec() sets remove-on-exec events to the EXIT state and detaches their group relationships. The event's file descriptor can remain open, however, and perf_event_open() currently accepts that event as a group leader because its early validation rejects only REVOKED and DEAD events. A new sibling can consequently be linked to the detached leader. When the leader is closed, perf_group_detach() observes that its PERF_ATTACH_GROUP bit is already clear and skips the new sibling. The sibling then retains a group_leader pointer to the freed event. Reject group leaders in the EXIT state. Perform the check while holding the shared context mutex so that an exec in the target task cannot detach the leader between validation and group attachment. | CVE-2026-72323 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 9.8 Critical |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipv4: igmp: Fix potential UAF in igmp_gq_start_timer() A race condition exists between device teardown (inetdev_destroy) and incoming IGMP query processing (igmp_rcv), leading to a Use-After-Free in the IGMP timer callback. During device destruction, inetdev_destroy() drops the primary reference to in_device, which can drop its refcount to 0. The actual freeing of in_device memory is deferred via RCU (using call_rcu()). Concurrently, igmp_rcv() runs under RCU read lock and obtains the in_device pointer. Because the memory is RCU-protected, CPU-0 can safely dereference in_device even if its refcount has hit 0. However, if CPU-0 calls igmp_gq_start_timer() and re-arms the timer, it attempts to acquire a reference using in_dev_hold(). This increments the refcount from 0 to 1, triggering a "refcount_t: addition on 0" warning. Since the in_device memory is still scheduled to be freed after the RCU grace period (as the free callback does not check the refcount again), the device is freed while the timer is still armed. When the timer expires, it accesses the freed memory, causing a kernel panic. Fix this by using refcount_inc_not_zero() (via a new helper in_dev_hold_safe()) to prevent acquiring a reference if the device is already being destroyed. If the refcount is 0, we do not arm the timer. A similar issue in IPv6 MLD is fixed in a subsequent patch. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ipvs: reload ip header after head reallocation __ip_vs_get_out_rt() calls skb_ensure_writable() which may reallocate skb->head. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53242 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ALSA: PCM: Fix wait queue list corruption in snd_pcm_drain() on linked streams snd_pcm_drain() uses init_waitqueue_entry which does not clear entry.prev/next, and add_wait_queue with a conditional remove_wait_queue that is skipped when to_check is no longer in the group after concurrent UNLINK. The orphaned wait entry remains on the unlinked substream sleep queue. On the next drain iteration, add_wait_queue adds the entry to a new queue while still linked on the old one, corrupting both lists. A subsequent wake_up dereferences NULL at the func pointer (mapped from the spinlock at offset 0 of the misinterpreted wait_queue_head_t), causing a kernel panic. Replace init_waitqueue_entry/add_wait_queue/conditional remove_wait_queue with init_wait_entry/prepare_to_wait/ finish_wait. init_wait_entry clears prev/next via INIT_LIST_HEAD on each iteration and sets autoremove_wake_function which auto-removes the entry on wake-up. finish_wait safely handles both the already-removed and still-queued cases. | ||||
| CVE-2026-53089 | 1 Linux | 1 Linux Kernel | 2026-09-02 | 7.8 High |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf: Fix use-after-free in offloaded map/prog info fill When querying info for an offloaded BPF map or program, bpf_map_offload_info_fill_ns() and bpf_prog_offload_info_fill_ns() obtain the network namespace with get_net(dev_net(offmap->netdev)). However, the associated netdev's netns may be racing with teardown during netns destruction. If the netns refcount has already reached 0, get_net() performs a refcount_t increment on 0, triggering: refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free. Although rtnl_lock and bpf_devs_lock ensure the netdev pointer remains valid, they cannot prevent the netns refcount from reaching zero. Fix this by using maybe_get_net() instead of get_net(). maybe_get_net() uses refcount_inc_not_zero() and returns NULL if the refcount is already zero, which causes ns_get_path_cb() to fail and the caller to return -ENOENT -- the correct behavior when the netns is being destroyed. | ||||
