| CVE-2005-2929 | 2 Redhat, University Of Kansas | 2 Enterprise Linux, Lynx | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| Lynx 2.8.5, and other versions before 2.8.6dev.15, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via (1) lynxcgi:, (2) lynxexec, and (3) lynxprog links, which are not properly restricted in the default configuration in some environments. | ||||
| CVE-2005-2933 | 2 Redhat, University Of Washington | 3 Enterprise Linux, Rhel Stronghold, Uw-imap | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| Buffer overflow in the mail_valid_net_parse_work function in mail.c for Washington's IMAP Server (UW-IMAP) before imap-2004g allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via a mailbox name containing a single double-quote (") character without a closing quote, which causes bytes after the double-quote to be copied into a buffer indefinitely. | ||||
| CVE-2005-2968 | 2 Mozilla, Redhat | 3 Firefox, Mozilla, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| Firefox 1.0.6 and Mozilla 1.7.10 allows attackers to execute arbitrary commands via shell metacharacters in a URL that is provided to the browser on the command line, which is sent unfiltered to bash. | ||||
| CVE-2005-2977 | 2 Pam, Redhat | 2 Pam, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| The SELinux version of PAM before 0.78 r3 allows local users to perform brute force password guessing attacks via unix_chkpwd, which does not log failed guesses or delay its responses. | ||||
| CVE-2005-2969 | 2 Openssl, Redhat | 4 Openssl, Enterprise Linux, Network Satellite and 1 more | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| The SSL/TLS server implementation in OpenSSL 0.9.7 before 0.9.7h and 0.9.8 before 0.9.8a, when using the SSL_OP_MSIE_SSLV2_RSA_PADDING option, disables a verification step that is required for preventing protocol version rollback attacks, which allows remote attackers to force a client and server to use a weaker protocol than needed via a man-in-the-middle attack. | ||||
| CVE-2005-2970 | 4 Apache, Canonical, Fedoraproject and 1 more | 7 Http Server, Ubuntu Linux, Fedora Core and 4 more | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| Memory leak in the worker MPM (worker.c) for Apache 2, in certain circumstances, allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory consumption) via aborted connections, which prevents the memory for the transaction pool from being reused for other connections. | ||||
| CVE-2005-2973 | 2 Linux, Redhat | 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| The udp_v6_get_port function in udp.c in Linux 2.6 before 2.6.14-rc5, when running IPv6, allows local users to cause a denial of service (infinite loop and crash). | ||||
| CVE-2005-2974 | 2 Libungif, Redhat | 2 Libungif, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-16 | N/A |
| libungif library before 4.1.0 allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted GIF file that triggers a null dereference. | ||||
| CVE-2026-2239 | 2 Gimp, Redhat | 2 Gimp, Enterprise Linux | 2026-04-15 | 2.8 Low |
| A flaw was found in GIMP. Heap-buffer-overflow vulnerability exists in the fread_pascal_string function when processing a specially crafted PSD (Photoshop Document) file. This occurs because the buffer allocated for a Pascal string is not properly null-terminated, leading to an out-of-bounds read when strlen() is subsequently called. Successfully exploiting this vulnerability can cause the application to crash, resulting in an application level Denial of Service. | ||||
| CVE-2020-8177 | 6 Debian, Fujitsu, Haxx and 3 more | 19 Debian Linux, M10-1, M10-1 Firmware and 16 more | 2026-04-15 | 7.8 High |
| curl 7.20.0 through 7.70.0 is vulnerable to improper restriction of names for files and other resources that can lead too overwriting a local file when the -J flag is used. | ||||
| CVE-2020-27153 | 4 Bluez, Debian, Opensuse and 1 more | 4 Bluez, Debian Linux, Leap and 1 more | 2026-04-15 | 8.6 High |
| In BlueZ before 5.55, a double free was found in the gatttool disconnect_cb() routine from shared/att.c. A remote attacker could potentially cause a denial of service or code execution, during service discovery, due to a redundant disconnect MGMT event. | ||||
| CVE-2019-5482 | 7 Debian, Fedoraproject, Haxx and 4 more | 24 Debian Linux, Fedora, Curl and 21 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |

| CVE-2019-5436 | 8 Debian, F5, Fedoraproject and 5 more | 15 Debian Linux, Traffix Signaling Delivery Controller, Fedora and 12 more | 2026-04-15 | 7.8 High |
| A heap buffer overflow in the TFTP receiving code allows for DoS or arbitrary code execution in libcurl versions 7.19.4 through 7.64.1. | ||||
| CVE-2018-1000301 | 5 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 2 more | 15 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Curl and 12 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.1 Critical |
| curl version curl 7.20.0 to and including curl 7.59.0 contains a CWE-126: Buffer Over-read vulnerability in denial of service that can result in curl can be tricked into reading data beyond the end of a heap based buffer used to store downloaded RTSP content.. This vulnerability appears to have been fixed in curl < 7.20.0 and curl >= 7.60.0. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000257 | 3 Debian, Haxx, Redhat | 5 Debian Linux, Libcurl, Enterprise Linux and 2 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.1 Critical |
| An IMAP FETCH response line indicates the size of the returned data, in number of bytes. When that response says the data is zero bytes, libcurl would pass on that (non-existing) data with a pointer and the size (zero) to the deliver-data function. libcurl's deliver-data function treats zero as a magic number and invokes strlen() on the data to figure out the length. The strlen() is called on a heap based buffer that might not be zero terminated so libcurl might read beyond the end of it into whatever memory lies after (or just crash) and then deliver that to the application as if it was actually downloaded. | ||||
| CVE-2018-16842 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 1 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Curl and 3 more | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| Curl versions 7.14.1 through 7.61.1 are vulnerable to a heap-based buffer over-read in the tool_msgs.c:voutf() function that may result in information exposure and denial of service. | ||||
| CVE-2018-14618 | 4 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 1 more | 6 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 3 more | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| curl before version 7.61.1 is vulnerable to a buffer overrun in the NTLM authentication code. The internal function Curl_ntlm_core_mk_nt_hash multiplies the length of the password by two (SUM) to figure out how large temporary storage area to allocate from the heap. The length value is then subsequently used to iterate over the password and generate output into the allocated storage buffer. On systems with a 32 bit size_t, the math to calculate SUM triggers an integer overflow when the password length exceeds 2GB (2^31 bytes). This integer overflow usually causes a very small buffer to actually get allocated instead of the intended very huge one, making the use of that buffer end up in a heap buffer overflow. (This bug is almost identical to CVE-2017-8816.) | ||||
| CVE-2018-16890 | 8 Canonical, Debian, F5 and 5 more | 11 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Big-ip Access Policy Manager and 8 more | 2026-04-15 | 7.5 High |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 is vulnerable to a heap buffer out-of-bounds read. The function handling incoming NTLM type-2 messages (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:ntlm_decode_type2_target`) does not validate incoming data correctly and is subject to an integer overflow vulnerability. Using that overflow, a malicious or broken NTLM server could trick libcurl to accept a bad length + offset combination that would lead to a buffer read out-of-bounds. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3822 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 4 more | 17 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 14 more | 2026-04-15 | 9.8 Critical |
| libcurl versions from 7.36.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a stack-based buffer overflow. The function creating an outgoing NTLM type-3 header (`lib/vauth/ntlm.c:Curl_auth_create_ntlm_type3_message()`), generates the request HTTP header contents based on previously received data. The check that exists to prevent the local buffer from getting overflowed is implemented wrongly (using unsigned math) and as such it does not prevent the overflow from happening. This output data can grow larger than the local buffer if very large 'nt response' data is extracted from a previous NTLMv2 header provided by the malicious or broken HTTP server. Such a 'large value' needs to be around 1000 bytes or more. The actual payload data copied to the target buffer comes from the NTLMv2 type-2 response header. | ||||
| CVE-2019-3823 | 6 Canonical, Debian, Haxx and 3 more | 9 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libcurl and 6 more | 2026-04-15 | N/A |
| libcurl versions from 7.34.0 to before 7.64.0 are vulnerable to a heap out-of-bounds read in the code handling the end-of-response for SMTP. If the buffer passed to `smtp_endofresp()` isn't NUL terminated and contains no character ending the parsed number, and `len` is set to 5, then the `strtol()` call reads beyond the allocated buffer. The read contents will not be returned to the caller. | ||||
