| CVE-2026-62383 | 1 Nltk | 1 Nltk | 2026-08-27 | 5.5 Medium |
| nltk versions before 3.10.2 contain a symlink-based arbitrary file read vulnerability in IPIPANCorpusReader methods that bypass nltk.pathsec validation entirely. Attackers can place a symlink in the corpus root directory and read arbitrary files accessible to the process by calling channels(), domains(), categories(), or fileids() methods with the symlink filename. | ||||
| CVE-2026-66384 | 1 Jfrog | 1 Artifactory | 2026-08-27 | 5.3 Medium |
| An authenticated user may write data outside the intended Docker cache path under specific remote-repository conditions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-64777 | 1 Apple | 1 Container | 2026-08-27 | 4.3 Medium |
| A malicious builder peer may be able to request an in-context file by name from the host and receive the contents of whatever the name resolves to, even when it resolves outside the build context. This vulnerability is addressed in container version 1.2.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-75333 | 2026-08-27 | 7.5 High | ||
| yx-image-recognition v1.0 is vulnerable to Path Traversal. Parameters such as dir, filePath are directly passed to new File() for file system operations without any path sanitization or whitelist validation. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81028 | 1 Zlmediakit | 1 Zlmediakit | 2026-08-27 | 4.9 Medium |
| ZLMediaKit confines the downloadFile API to a configured set of root directories with a prefix comparison that does not account for directory boundaries. The configuration loader in server/WebApi.cpp builds each root with File::absolutePath("", item, true); because the relative-path argument is empty that helper returns the value without a trailing separator. The handler then accepts a requested path when start_with(file_path, root) holds, so a sibling directory whose name merely begins with the configured root string satisfies the test and is served. The only other guard rejects a path containing two dots, which this requires none of. The equivalent confinement check for the ordinary static file server in src/Http/HttpFileManager.cpp computes its root with a non-empty second argument, which appends the separator before comparing, and so is not affected. The endpoint requires the configured API secret, so this grants no privilege beyond what that secret already implies, but it reads files outside the directory the operator confined it to, and the reference container runs the server as root. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78679 | 2 Gitpython-developers, Gitpython Project | 2 Gitpython, Gitpython | 2026-08-27 | 6.5 Medium |
| GitPython before 3.1.59 contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability in TagReference.create() where a positional reference parameter bypasses the unsafe option guard. Attackers can supply a reference value like --file=<path> to read arbitrary files, with contents returned in the annotated tag message. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78638 | 1 Peerigon | 2 Unzip-crx, Unzip-crx-3 | 2026-08-27 | 3.3 Low |
| A flaw has been found in peerigon unzip-crx and unzip-crx-3 up to 0.2.0. This affects the function unzip of the file dist/index.js of the component Archive Extraction. Executing a manipulation of the argument destination can lead to path traversal. The attack can only be executed locally. The exploit has been published and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-71364 | 1 Redhat | 3 Ansible Automation Platform, Ansible Automation Platform Developer, Ansible Automation Platform Inside | 2026-08-27 | 7.2 High |
| A path traversal vulnerability was found in AWX's project archive extraction. The project_archive action plugin extracts zip and tar archive members by joining the project directory path with the member filename without performing path normalization, boundary validation, or rejecting directory traversal sequences. A malicious archive containing members with path traversal components can write files to arbitrary locations on the execution node's filesystem outside the intended project directory. An attacker who controls the archive content, either through a compromised upstream source, a malicious archive URL, or a man-in-the-middle attack on a plain HTTP connection, can achieve arbitrary file writes as the user performing the extraction, potentially leading to remote code execution through mechanisms such as cron files, SSH authorized keys, or playbook content injection. | ||||
| CVE-2026-57171 | 1 Oscal-compass | 1 Compliance-trestle | 2026-08-27 | 7.7 High |
| Compliance-trestle (Trestle) is a Python SDK and command-line tool for managing OSCAL compliance documents. In versions before 3.12.4 and versions 4.0.0 through 4.0.3, the catalog-generate, profile-generate, and ssp-generate author commands write generated Markdown to an attacker-influenced output path without path-traversal validation, allowing arbitrary file write outside the Trestle workspace. These commands join the user-supplied output argument onto the Trestle root and write to the result, but guard it only with an is_directory_name_allowed() task-name-collision check rather than the PathSecurityValidator.validate_local_path() guard used by the jinja command, so an absolute path or one containing traversal sequences escapes the workspace and writes files under an attacker-chosen location as the invoking process owner. The security boundary is crossed when a trusted CI job, shared service, or wrapper derives the output argument from repository-controlled, tenant-controlled, or otherwise untrusted data while expecting output to stay inside the workspace. When --force-overwrite is used, the selected output directory is first recursively deleted, extending the primitive to destruction of an attacker-chosen directory tree and enabling indirect code execution by overwriting files a pipeline later runs. This issue is fixed in versions 3.12.4 and 4.1.0. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81659 | 1 Flowintel | 1 Flowintel | 2026-08-27 | N/A |
| Affected versions of Flowintel allow attacker-controlled note content to be processed by Pandoc and XeLaTeX during PDF export in a way that can cause local files on the Flowintel server to be read and incorporated into the generated export. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81743 | 1 Flowintel | 1 Flowintel | 2026-08-27 | N/A |
| Affected versions of Flowintel allow the LOG_FILE configuration value to be modified through system settings without restricting it to a filename inside the intended log directory. Because the application constructs the log destination from this configurable value, an administrator could set LOG_FILE to an arbitrary filesystem path. Since attackers can influence logged content, this enables controlled data to be written into unintended files. The upstream commit specifically describes an exploitation chain in which an attacker injects a template into a chosen file and subsequently abuses application rendering behavior to execute code. The patch removes LOG_FILE from the web-editable settings, introduces validate_log_file_name() to reject absolute paths, traversal, Windows paths, null bytes, and directory components, and centralizes log path construction through resolve_log_file_path(). Version impacted: >=3.3.0 | ||||
| CVE-2026-55540 | 1 Mervinpraison | 1 Praisonai | 2026-08-27 | 7.1 High |
| PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonai 4.6.51, is_path_within_directory() uses os.path.abspath() rather than os.path.realpath() for the workspace boundary. A symlink inside workspace can point outside and still pass the check, allowing read_file and other code tools to access files outside the configured workspace. This issue is fixed in version 4.6.58. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81491 | 1 Boxpositron | 1 With-context-mcp | 2026-08-27 | 7.3 High |

Such manipulation of the argument filePath leads to path traversal. The attack may be performed from remote. The exploit has been disclosed publicly and may be used. The project was informed of the problem early through an issue report but has not responded yet. | ||||
| CVE-2026-19693 | 1 Max-mapper | 1 Extract-zip | 2026-08-27 | 8.1 High |
| extract-zip through 2.0.1 containment-checks only the parent directory of each archive entry and never the entry's own final path component, so an archive containing two entries with identical names - a symlink whose target is outside the destination, followed by a regular file - writes through the planted symlink and yields an arbitrary file write outside the destination directory. | ||||
| CVE-2026-78275 | 2026-08-27 | 6.8 Medium | ||
| Editor Arbitrary File Deletion in Fluent Boards Pro <= 2.0.11 versions. | ||||
| CVE-2026-81030 | 2 Mage, Mage Ai | 2 Mage-ai, Mage Ai | 2026-08-26 | 6.5 Medium |
| Mage AI does not confine the paths accepted by its browser-items API to the project directory. BrowserItemResource in mage_ai/api/resources/BrowserItemResource.py passes a caller-supplied path to the filesystem read and write helpers without calling the containment helper that the sibling FileContentResource and FileResource classes both use, so the resource contains no such call while those two contain several. A user holding the Viewer role, which grants read access within the project and nothing outside it, can therefore read any file the server process can read by supplying an absolute path. The permission model that would otherwise separate roles is not consulted for this route in the default configuration, because the setting that enables it defaults to false. Callers holding the Editor role additionally write through the same unconfined path, though that role is already able to execute code by design, so the boundary crossed by this flaw is the read available to the Viewer role. | ||||
