| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Kernel allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows MIDI Service Module allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Microsoft Office SharePoint allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network. |
| Heap-based buffer overflow in Windows Program Compatibility Assistant Service allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Open WebUI is an extensible, feature-rich, and user-friendly self-hosted AI platform. From 0.9.6 until 0.11.1, SafePlaywrightURLLoader in backend/open_webui/retrieval/web/utils.py validated a user-controlled hostname in Python and then let the Playwright browser resolve it again in the sync and async request interceptors. An authenticated user controlling authoritative DNS could return a public address to validation and an internal address to the browser, exposing responses from internal services or cloud metadata through web search or URL ingestion. This issue is fixed in version 0.11.1. |
| Race condition in Chromoting in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a local attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Race condition in Mobile in Google Chrome on on iOS prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to bypass web origin policy via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains a Time-of-check Time-of-use (TOCTOU) Race Condition vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service. |

An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service. |
| Race condition in DataTransfer in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker leveraging social engineering to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low) |
| Race condition in Updater in Google Chrome on on Windows prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a local attacker to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox via a local program. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows MIDI Service Module allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows Win32K allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Race condition in FileAPI in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to bypass site isolation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium) |
| IBM Db2 Mirror for i 7.4, 7.5, and 7.6 could allow a local attacker to obtain information due to a race condition involving a predictable Unix domain socket path in a world-writable directory. |
| Time-of-check time-of-use (toctou) race condition in Windows USB Audio Class driver (usbaudio.sys) allows an authorized attacker to elevate privileges locally. |
| Race condition in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 152.0.7977.82 allowed a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High) |
| Kernel software installed and running inside a Guest VM may post improper commands to the GPU Firmware to trigger a read and/or write data outside the Guest's virtualised GPU memory.
The firmware uses data provided by the Guest VM to set up accesses to memory. It validated this before use, but a TOCTOU bug was present which allowed the earlier check results to be invalidated. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
proc: protect ptrace_may_access() with exec_update_lock (FD links)
proc_pid_get_link() and proc_pid_readlink() currently look up the task from
the pid once, then do the ptrace access check on that task, then look up
the task from the pid a second time to do the actual access.
That's racy in several ways.
To fix it, pass the task to the ->proc_get_link() handler, and instead of
proc_fd_access_allowed(), introduce a new helper call_proc_get_link() that
looks up and locks the task, does the access check, and calls
->proc_get_link(). |
| A flaw was found in Flatpak. A Time-of-check to time-of-use (TOCTOU) race condition exists in the `org.freedesktop.Flatpak.SystemHelper` component. This vulnerability occurs because a privileged `chmod` operation executes before the OSTree repository validation within the `Deploy()` function. An attacker can exploit this timing window to redirect symlinks to arbitrary files, potentially leading to unauthorized file manipulation or information disclosure. |
