CVE-2026-19584 1 Rapid7 1 Velociraptor 2026-09-10 7.7 High
Velociraptor allows for the creation of notebook backups in its default enabled daily backup feature. When Velociraptor restores the backup, the notebook cell content is interpolated into a template with no ACL checks. This allows a malicious user with NOTEBOOK_EDITOR permission to plant a VQL query which will be evaluated at elevated permissions if the notebook's backup is subsequently restored.
CVE-2026-87021 2026-09-09 7.2 High
Tanium addressed an unauthorized code execution vulnerability in Comply.
CVE-2022-4993 1 Gshank 1 Html::formhandler 2026-09-08 9.1 Critical
HTML::FormHandler versions before 0.410000 for Perl allow attacker selected method dispatch and resource exhaustion because _apply_actions and add_error use error message text built from request data as a Locale::Maketext bracket notation template. add_error hands its first argument to the language handle as the Locale::Maketext message key, and the default handle's lexicon sets `_AUTO`, so a string that is not a lexicon entry is compiled as a bracket notation template instead of being looked up. In a bracket group the first token names a method called on the language handle and the remaining tokens are its arguments. Three kinds of text the library did not author reach that position. _apply_actions installs a `$SIG{__WARN__}` handler that stores the warning text in `$error_message`, and a captured warning survives a successful action, so a field carrying a numeric transform turns `Argument "[sprintf,%50000000d,0]" isn't numeric` into the template; a warning quotes the submitted value verbatim, so the group is well formed and dispatches. `$error_message ||= $tobj->validate($new_value)` takes a type constraint's own failure message, which renders the rejected value through a partial dumper in bracket and comma form (Devel::PartialDump when Moose can load it, Type::Tiny's own dumper always), so a field with `apply => [ Str ]` given a parameter sent more than once, which arrives as an array, gets `Reference ["a","b"] did not pass type constraint "Str"` as its template, from a request that carries no bracket character of its own. A coercion or transform exception reaches it the same way. Beyond those, a validator whose message contains the field value puts that value in the template directly, and add_error replaces the message list with the contents of an arrayref first argument (`@message = @{$message[0]} if ref $message[0] eq 'ARRAY'`), so a value arriving as an array fills the argument slots from the same request as well. A malformed group such as `[0]` makes the compile croak, and HTML::FormHandler::I18N::maketext and add_error each re-raise that as a die, so process() throws. A well formed group naming sprintf reaches CORE::sprintf with an attacker chosen field width. Any caller that applies a type constraint or a transform to an untrusted field, or whose validator passes an untrusted field value to add_error, can be made to throw an unhandled exception out of process(), or to allocate an arbitrary amount of memory in one request, and an application whose language handle subclass defines side effecting public methods makes those callable with attacker chosen arguments. The dumped type constraint message is bounded to the exception, because both dumpers quote non-numeric elements so the method slot is never an attacker chosen name. The built-in messages pass fixed templates with the value in an argument slot, where it stays inert, and the built-in field types attach explicit message callbacks, so neither is affected.
CVE-2026-75650 1 Adobe 6 Adobe Commerce, Adobe Commerce B2b, Commerce and 3 more 2026-09-08 10 Critical
Adobe Commerce is affected by an Improper Neutralization of Special Elements Used in a Template Engine vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability to execute arbitrary code. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. Scope is changed.
CVE-2026-52762 1 Yeswiki 1 Yeswiki 2026-09-08 N/A
YesWiki is a wiki system written in PHP. Prior to version 4.6.6, YesWiki Bazar contains a stored Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) vulnerability in the semantic template feature that can be escalated to confirmed Remote Code Execution (RCE). An authenticated administrator can place arbitrary Twig expressions into the Semantic template (Twig) field (bn_sem_template), and that content is later executed server-side when public semantic endpoints are requested. This issue has been patched in version 4.6.6.
CVE-2026-46636 1 Twigphp 1 Twig 2026-09-08 N/A
Twig is a template language for PHP. From version 1.0.0 to before version 3.27.0, SecurityPolicy::checkMethodAllowed() unconditionally whitelists all method calls on instances of Twig\Markup. Twig\Markup is not final, so subclasses inherit the bypass. An application that passes an object of a Markup-derived class into a sandboxed template (typically to mark a chunk of HTML as safe) inadvertently exposes every public method of that subclass to template authors, regardless of the configured allowedMethods list. This issue has been patched in version 3.27.0.
CVE-2026-13297 1 Ibm 4 Security Verify Access, Security Verify Access Container, Verify Identity Access and 1 more 2026-09-08 7.5 High
IBM Verify Identity Access Advanced Access Control may be vulnerable to an information disclosure attack.
CVE-2026-33387 1 Nozomi Networks 2 Cmc, Guardian 2026-09-08 4.6 Medium
A template injection vulnerability was discovered in the Dashboards functionality due to improper validation of an input parameter. An authenticated user with the required privileges can define a dashboard containing a malicious payload, or a victim can be socially engineered into importing a malicious dashboard. When the victim views or imports the dashboard, the payload executes in their browser context, allowing the attacker to modify application data or disrupt application availability.
CVE-2026-75036 1 Suse 1 Fleet 2026-09-05 N/A
A security vulnerability was discovered in Fleet's Helm template preprocessing where templates evaluated by the Fleet controller could reach network resources outside the management cluster. A user who can supply bundle content to a repository referenced by a `GitRepo` resource can cause the Fleet controller to: - Disclose cluster metadata available to the templating context. - Reveal information about hosts reachable from the controller's network position. Because the disclosure channel is name resolution, it may remain effective in environments where outbound traffic is otherwise restricted. The disclosed information is limited to values exposed to the Fleet templating context and to name resolution results. Integrity and availability of managed clusters are not affected. This issue affects Fleet: from 0.12.0 before 0.12.19, from 0.13.0 before 0.13.15, from 0.14.0 before 0.14.10, from 0.15.0 before 0.15.6, and from 0.16.0 before 0.16.1.
CVE-2026-85654 1 Amazon 1 Awslabs.dynamodb-mcp-server 2026-09-04 7.8 High
Improper neutralization of special elements used in a template engine in the CDK generator in Amazon awslabs.dynamodb-mcp-server before 2.1.6 might allow a context-dependent actor to execute arbitrary code on the host that deploys the generated application via crafted table, index, or attribute names in a data model file.
CVE-2026-12894 1 Redhat 7 Apache Camel Quarkus, Build Of Apache Camel For Quarkus, Build Of Quarkus and 4 more 2026-09-04 8.8 High
A flaw was found in the Qute template engine, which is used by Quarkus to generate dynamic content like HTML pages or emails. The issue exists in the component responsible for looking up data values (ReflectionValueResolver), which fails to properly block access to sensitive Java internal functions when processing certain data types like Enums. An attacker who can provide or influence the template text can exploit this bypass to take control of the server by executing unauthorized commands.
CVE-2026-82958 1 Eclipse 1 Eclipse Ditto 2026-09-02 N/A
In Eclipse Ditto versions [1.3.0, 3.9.6], the ImplicitThingCreationMessageMapper of the connectivity service builds a CreateThing command by substituting placeholder values (e.g. {{ header:device_id }}) resolved from inbound message headers into a pre-configured JSON "thing" template as raw, un-escaped strings, and then parses the resulting string as JSON. Because the placeholder engine performs no JSON escaping and is unaware of the surrounding JSON string context, a resolved value containing a double-quote character can break out of its string and inject additional JSON structure. When a connection is configured to use this mapper with a template that reflects a header whose value a publishing device can control (for example an MQTT 5 user property, an AMQP 1.0 application property, or a Kafka record header), an attacker able to publish on that connection can inject an inline _policy object. The inline policy overrides the administrator-configured policyId, letting the attacker assign an arbitrary access-control policy to the newly created digital twin — gaining full read/write access to it and potentially revoking the legitimate owner's access, with no administrator interaction. Exploitation requires all of the following: the connection uses the (non-default) ImplicitThingCreation mapper; its template reflects an attacker-controllable header; and, for the policy-override impact, the connection's authorization subjects are permitted to create policies (the default). Deployments that restrict the connection's subjects to thing creation only via the entity-creation configuration are not affected by the policy-override impact.
CVE-2026-47727 1 Triliumnext 1 Trilium 2026-09-01 N/A
Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the default-on "Safe import" filter fails to neutralize the shareTemplate relation because that relation is not marked as dangerous, allowing an attacker-supplied import archive to plant a server-side template that leads to remote code execution. The relation is omitted from the built-in list of dangerous attributes, so unlike other code-loading relations it is not disabled on import, and when the victim later publishes the imported note the public share renderer feeds the linked EJS code note's raw bytes into ejs.render, which compiles them in the server's Node process. An unauthenticated request to the shared note then executes the attacker's JavaScript with full access to require, process, the filesystem, and the network. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0.
CVE-2026-37004 1 Berriai 1 Litellm 2026-09-01 9.8 Critical
BerriAI litellm <=1.82.4 is vulnerable to Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI), which allows unauthenticated remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands via a crafted dotprompt_content parameter in the /prompts/test endpoint due to use of an unsandboxed jinja2.Environment.
CVE-2026-82447 1 Skyvern-ai 1 Skyvern 2026-09-01 8.8 High
Skyvern before 1.0.45 contains a sandbox escape vulnerability in TextPromptBlock that renders prompts twice, first through a sandboxed Jinja environment and then through an unsandboxed environment. Attackers can inject malicious Jinja template syntax through workflow parameters or upstream block output to execute arbitrary code with server process privileges.
CVE-2026-22244 1 Open-metadata 1 Openmetadata 2026-08-31 7.2 High
OpenMetadata is a unified metadata platform. Versions 1.5.0 through 1.11.3 are vulnerable to remote code execution via Server-Side Template Injection (SSTI) in FreeMarker email templates. An attacker must have administrative privileges to exploit the vulnerability. Version 1.11.4 contains a patch.
CVE-2026-54718 1 Silverstripe 1 Silverstripe-advancedworkflow 2026-08-31 7.2 High
Silverstripe Advanced Workflow is a highly configurable step-based workflow module. Prior to 6.4.5, 7.1.3, and 7.2.1, an attacker with permission to author the advanced workflow email template can place a specially crafted server-side template payload in NotifyUsersWorkflowAction.EmailTemplate. When NotifyUsersWorkflowAction renders the field through the Silverstripe template engine SSTemplateParser, the payload can cause PHP evaluation and arbitrary code execution on the server; the regression coverage is in tests/php/WorkflowEngineTest.php. This issue is fixed in versions 6.4.5, 7.1.3, and 7.2.1.
CVE-2026-77939 1 Flextype 1 Flextype 2026-08-31 6.5 Medium
Flextype CMS through v1.0.0-dev contains an expression language injection vulnerability that allows authenticated attackers with a valid API token to read arbitrary files by passing unsanitized user-supplied input to the Symfony ExpressionLanguage engine via the POST /api/v1/query endpoint. Attackers can leverage exposed application objects including filesystem() and serializers() within the evaluation scope to read arbitrary server files and achieve conditional remote code execution if a PHP file can be placed on disk through a secondary vector.
CVE-2026-57170 1 Oscal-compass 1 Compliance-trestle 2026-08-28 7.8 High
Compliance-trestle (Trestle) is a Python SDK and command-line tool for managing OSCAL compliance documents. In versions prior to 3.12.4 and 4.0.0 through 4.0.3, the custom Jinja2 include tags mdsection_include and md_clean_include re-parse the content of an included Markdown file as Jinja2 template code in a non-sandboxed environment, allowing server-side template injection that can lead to arbitrary code execution. The MDSectionInclude and MDCleanInclude tags in Trestle/core/jinja/tags.py pass included file content to Parser(self.environment, ...).parse(), splicing it into the host template's compilation, and the environment is a plain jinja2.Environment rather than a SandboxedEnvironment, so any expressions in the file are evaluated with full access to the usual SSTI gadget chain. Because Trestle's Markdown writers emit OSCAL prose and component-description fields verbatim, applying delimiter neutralization only to parameter tables, attacker-controlled OSCAL data such as a control statement, part prose, or component description containing Jinja2 syntax flows into an included Markdown file and is executed when the include tag re-parses it. This issue is fixed in version 4.1.0.
CVE-2026-55559 1 Yamcs 1 Yamcs 2026-08-28 9.8 Critical
Yamcs is a mission control framework. Prior to 5.12.8 and 5.13.2, Yamcs inserts templateArgs from POST /api/instances and PATCH /api/instances/{instance} into YAML through VarStatement.append in yamcs-core/src/main/java/org/yamcs/templating/VarStatement.java without YAML-context escaping. The rendered configuration is parsed by YamcsServer.createInstance and loaded by YamcsServerInstance, allowing an attacker to inject a services entry for org.yamcs.ProcessRunner. Deployments without security.yaml expose the operation through the guest superuser, while secured deployments require SystemPrivilege.CreateInstances. Successful exploitation executes commands as the Yamcs service account. This issue is fixed in versions 5.12.8 and 5.13.2.
