CVE-2023-53436 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: snic: Fix possible memory leak if device_add() fails If device_add() returns error, the name allocated by dev_set_name() needs be freed. As the comment of device_add() says, put_device() should be used to give up the reference in the error path. So fix this by calling put_device(), then the name can be freed in kobject_cleanp().
CVE-2023-53435 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: cassini: Fix a memory leak in the error handling path of cas_init_one() cas_saturn_firmware_init() allocates some memory using vmalloc(). This memory is freed in the .remove() function but not it the error handling path of the probe. Add the missing vfree() to avoid a memory leak, should an error occur.
CVE-2023-53299 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: md/raid10: fix leak of 'r10bio->remaining' for recovery raid10_sync_request() will add 'r10bio->remaining' for both rdev and replacement rdev. However, if the read io fails, recovery_request_write() returns without issuing the write io, in this case, end_sync_request() is only called once and 'remaining' is leaked, cause an io hang. Fix the problem by decreasing 'remaining' according to if 'bio' and 'repl_bio' is valid.
CVE-2023-52895 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: io_uring/poll: don't reissue in case of poll race on multishot request A previous commit fixed a poll race that can occur, but it's only applicable for multishot requests. For a multishot request, we can safely ignore a spurious wakeup, as we never leave the waitqueue to begin with. A blunt reissue of a multishot armed request can cause us to leak a buffer, if they are ring provided. While this seems like a bug in itself, it's not really defined behavior to reissue a multishot request directly. It's less efficient to do so as well, and not required to rearm anything like it is for singleshot poll requests.
CVE-2026-43217 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: iris: gen2: Add sanity check for session stop In iris_kill_session, inst->state is set to IRIS_INST_ERROR and session_close is executed, which will kfree(inst_hfi_gen2->packet). If stop_streaming is called afterward, it will cause a crash. Add a NULL check for inst_hfi_gen2->packet before sendling STOP packet to firmware to fix that.
CVE-2022-50387 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: hinic: fix the issue of CMDQ memory leaks When hinic_set_cmdq_depth() fails in hinic_init_cmdqs(), the cmdq memory is not released correctly. Fix it.
CVE-2022-49729 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: nfcmrvl: Fix memory leak in nfcmrvl_play_deferred Similar to the handling of play_deferred in commit 19cfe912c37b ("Bluetooth: btusb: Fix memory leak in play_deferred"), we thought a patch might be needed here as well. Currently usb_submit_urb is called directly to submit deferred tx urbs after unanchor them. So the usb_giveback_urb_bh would failed to unref it in usb_unanchor_urb and cause memory leak. Put those urbs in tx_anchor to avoid the leak, and also fix the error handling.
CVE-2022-49704 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: 9p: fix fid refcount leak in v9fs_vfs_get_link we check for protocol version later than required, after a fid has been obtained. Just move the version check earlier.
CVE-2022-49682 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: xtensa: Fix refcount leak bug in time.c In calibrate_ccount(), of_find_compatible_node() will return a node pointer with refcount incremented. We should use of_node_put() when it is not used anymore.
CVE-2022-49679 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: ARM: Fix refcount leak in axxia_boot_secondary of_find_compatible_node() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when done. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
CVE-2022-49652 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: dmaengine: ti: Fix refcount leak in ti_dra7_xbar_route_allocate of_parse_phandle() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not needed anymore. Add missing of_node_put() in to fix this.
CVE-2022-49591 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: dsa: microchip: ksz_common: Fix refcount leak bug In ksz_switch_register(), we should call of_node_put() for the reference returned by of_get_child_by_name() which has increased the refcount.
CVE-2022-49583 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: iavf: Fix handling of dummy receive descriptors Fix memory leak caused by not handling dummy receive descriptor properly. iavf_get_rx_buffer now sets the rx_buffer return value for dummy receive descriptors. Without this patch, when the hardware writes a dummy descriptor, iavf would not free the page allocated for the previous receive buffer. This is an unlikely event but can still happen. [Jesse: massaged commit message]
CVE-2022-49439 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/fsl_rio: Fix refcount leak in fsl_rio_setup of_parse_phandle() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
CVE-2022-49437 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: powerpc/xive: Fix refcount leak in xive_spapr_init of_find_compatible_node() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when done. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
CVE-2022-49389 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: usbip: fix a refcount leak in stub_probe() usb_get_dev() is called in stub_device_alloc(). When stub_probe() fails after that, usb_put_dev() needs to be called to release the reference. Fix this by moving usb_put_dev() to sdev_free error path handling. Find this by code review.
CVE-2022-49342 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: ethernet: bgmac: Fix refcount leak in bcma_mdio_mii_register of_get_child_by_name() returns a node pointer with refcount incremented, we should use of_node_put() on it when not need anymore. Add missing of_node_put() to avoid refcount leak.
CVE-2022-49334 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mm/huge_memory: Fix xarray node memory leak If xas_split_alloc() fails to allocate the necessary nodes to complete the xarray entry split, it sets the xa_state to -ENOMEM, which xas_nomem() then interprets as "Please allocate more memory", not as "Please free any unnecessary memory" (which was the intended outcome). It's confusing to use xas_nomem() to free memory in this context, so call xas_destroy() instead.
CVE-2022-49331 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfc: st21nfca: fix memory leaks in EVT_TRANSACTION handling Error paths do not free previously allocated memory. Add devm_kfree() to those failure paths.
CVE-2022-49284 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-05-11 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: coresight: syscfg: Fix memleak on registration failure in cscfg_create_device device_register() calls device_initialize(), according to doc of device_initialize: Use put_device() to give up your reference instead of freeing * @dev directly once you have called this function. To prevent potential memleak, use put_device() for error handling.
