CVSS v3.1 |
| FreeRDP before 3.32.1 on Windows contains a heap out-of-bounds read in client_cli_present_gateway_message that passes a byte count as wide-character printf precision. A malicious RD Gateway can send pre-authentication consent or service messages, causing the client to read twice the buffer size, leaking heap memory or crashing. |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.1.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's TIFF tile and RGBA decode paths can read beyond row data produced by libtiff. In _decodeTile and the RGBA unpacker path, when Pillow and libtiff interpret duplicated PhotometricInterpretation or BitsPerSample tags differently, Pillow does not verify that the required input row fits inside the row libtiff produced, while the strip path has this validation. Loading pixels from such a crafted TIFF can expose adjacent heap data in output pixels or crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |
| Pillow is a Python imaging library. From 8.2.0 until 13.0.0, Pillow's tiled-TIFF decoder can read past the tile buffer while copying four-byte pixels. In _decodeTile, libtiff can return a tile allocation smaller than the required row stride multiplied by the tile length, and Pillow's stride-and-copy loop walks beyond that allocation. An attacker can supply a crafted tiled TIFF to an application that loads it. This can expose adjacent heap data in pixels or crash the process. This issue is fixed in version 13.0.0. |
| A heap buffer overflow caused by a XIPassiveUngrabDevice request with an out-of-range modifier value in X.Org X Server before 21.1.15 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or potentially execute code in X server context. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
cachefiles: Fix potential UAF/KASAN warning
Currently, trace_cachefiles_coherency() is being passed a pointer to a
__be64 lain over the coherency data in struct cachefiles_xattr so that it
can display the first 8 bytes. However, the data is of variable length and
could even be 0 bytes. This could lead to a UAF or KASAN warning.
Fix this by making sure the buffer has room for at least 8 bytes and that
those 8 bytes are pre-cleared.
Further, those bytes are not 8-byte aligned, so fix the tracepoint to
extract the data as four 2-byte words (they are 2-byte aligned) and
reassemble the __be64. The compiler will convert this into a single 8-byte
load where the CPU supports it. |
| A buffer overflow in RandR
ChangeProviderProperty requests in X.Org X Server before 2.1.25 and XWayland before 24.4.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or execute code within the X server context. |
| vLLM is an inference and serving engine for large language models. Prior to 0.32.0, vllm/tokenizers/hf.py computes max_token_id with an off-by-one upper bound, allowing a pre-tokenized prompt ID equal to the vocabulary size to pass validation. For a tensor-parallel size of one and an exact multiple-of-64 vocabulary, VocabParallelEmbedding.forward does not mask that value before F.embedding uses it, causing a CUDA device-side assertion and terminating the engine. This issue is fixed in version 0.32.0. |
| An out-of-bounds write issue was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8.2, macOS Tahoe 26.7.2. Processing a maliciously crafted file may lead to arbitrary code execution. |
| Joomla Extension - icagenda.com - CSV formula injection in the registrations export in iCagenda 3.5.0 to 4.0.16 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
scsi: libiscsi: Reject a negative task index from parse_pdu_itt
A transport that implements parse_pdu_itt hands libiscsi an index taken
from the PDU, and both lookups bound it from above only:
if (i >= session->cmds_max)
i and cmds_max are both int, so a negative index passes and
session->cmds[i] is read from before the array.
be2iscsi produces one. beiscsi_parse_pdu() assigns the raw tag,
*index = (int)itt;
and beiscsi_complete_pdu() forwards an unsolicited NOP-In from the
hardware async ring without replacing its ITT, so the value is the
target's. It also reports the session's own age rather than the one in
the tag, which leaves the age comparison in iscsi_verify_itt() with
nothing to reject.
Bound the index from below in both lookups. |
| A heap buffer overflow caused by mismatching size calculations between XkbAllocNames and ChangeKeycodeRange in X.org X server before 2.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or potentially execute code in X server context. |
| A buffer overflow when handling pointer barriers in the XFIXES extension in X.Org X server before 21.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be used by authenticated X clients to crash or potentially execute code in X server context. |
| An integer truncation issue in XkbResizeKeyType() that could lead to a heap buffer overflow by authenticated X clients in X.org X server before 21.1.25 and XWayland before 24.1.14 could be exploited for crashes or potential code execution in the X server. |
| A flaw was found in SSSD. A local attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending a specially crafted request to the autofs responder UNIX socket. Due to improper buffer offset calculation during request parsing, the service performs an out-of-bounds memory read. This flaw can cause the autofs responder process to crash, resulting in a denial of service (DoS). |
| A flaw was found in sssd. This vulnerability allows a local user to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) by submitting a specially crafted passkey authentication token that lacks null terminators. The authentication service reads past the end of the provided memory buffer, causing the process to crash and disrupting authentication services. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ntfs: fix incorrect MFT record pointer passed to ntfs_attr_record_resize
ntfs_new_attr_flags() passes the wrong MFT record to ntfs_attr_record_resize().
When the attribute is in an extent record, ctx->mrec points to the extent
but the function receives the base record pointer m, causing incorrect
size calculations in memmove.
Fix by passing ctx->mrec (the actual MFT record containing the attribute)
instead of m (the base MFT record) to ntfs_attr_record_resize(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
tracing: Check operator stack capacity before pushing
predicate_parse() uses the first operator stack entry before processing
any opening parentheses. A push then increments top before writing.
The existing check still permits that write when top already points to
the last allocated entry, which can access beyond the operator stack.
Reject the push when top reaches the last allocated entry. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: HIDP: fix missing length checks in hidp_input_report()
hidp_input_report() reads keyboard and mouse payload data from an skb
without first verifying that skb->len contains enough data.
hidp_recv_intr_frame() pulls the 1-byte HIDP header before dispatching
to hidp_input_report(). If a paired device sends a truncated packet,
the handler reads beyond the valid skb data, resulting in an
out-of-bounds read of skb data. The OOB bytes may be interpreted as
phantom key presses or spurious mouse movement.
Replace the open-coded length tracking and pointer arithmetic with
skb_pull_data() calls. skb_pull_data() returns NULL if the requested
bytes are not present, eliminating the need for a manual size variable
and the separate skb->len guard. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ring-buffer: Fix the sub-buffer array base in rb_meta_subbuf_idx()
On a persistent ring buffer, rb_meta_subbuf_idx() can return an index one
sub-buffer too high. rb_setup_ids_meta_page() then fills subbuf_ids[]
shifted by one and leaves subbuf_ids[0] NULL, which __rb_map_vma()
dereferences when userspace maps trace_pipe_raw. rb_update_meta_reader()
writes two such indices into meta->buffers[], which rb_cpu_meta_valid()
would reject on the next boot, discarding the previous boot's trace.
A CPU's sub-buffer array starts after its meta header and the nr_subbufs
integers that follow, aligned up to a sub-buffer. rb_meta_subbuf_idx()
inverts that calculation but skips only the integers, not the header, so
its base is one sub-buffer low whenever the omitted header size crosses
the alignment boundary.
Invert the calculation with rb_subbufs_from_meta() rather than repeating
it. rb_range_buffer() maps an index back to an address through the same
helper, so the two directions can no longer disagree. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
spi: imx: fix slab corruption from undersized DMA bounce buffers
Since commit faa8e404ad8e ("spi: imx: support dynamic burst length for
ECSPI DMA mode"), the driver allocates its private DMA TX/RX buffers
with kzalloc(dma_len), where dma_len is only rounded up to 4 bytes, but
maps, syncs and unmaps them with DMA_CACHE_ALIGNED_LEN(dma_len), i.e.
rounded up to the cache line size. As a result, the DMA API operates on
memory beyond the end of the allocation.
This was observed on a custom i.MX8MP platform with an mcp251xfd CAN
controller under heavy RPMSG load, as a series of refcount_t warnings
triggered from rpmsg_recv_done() in virtio_rpmsg_bus:
refcount_t: addition on 0; use-after-free.
refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free.
refcount_t: saturated; leaking memory.
Leading finally to an "Unable to handle kernel paging request" oops.
Reproducing this problem took between 30 minutes and roughly 30 hours
under the same workload.
Hardware watchpoints on the refcount of a struct rpmsg_endpoint showed
it was overwritten from 2 to 1 by __pi_memcpy_generic() in the
irq/155-spi2.0 thread. Additionally it was found that a "normal"
rpmsg_recv_done() took 11µs +/-2µs from its kref_get to kref_put. In
the error case the same sequence took about 215µs +/-10µs. Based on
this, an LLM was used to identify the size mismatch fixed here.
Allocate the buffers with DMA_CACHE_ALIGNED_LEN(dma_len) so they cover
the full mapped length, and use the same length for
dma_sync_single_for_cpu() to stay consistent with map and unmap.
With this patch applied, the same workload ran for more than 200 hours
without the problem reproducing. |
