CVSS v3.1 |
| A logic issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. A malicious application may bypass Gatekeeper checks. |
| A permissions issue was addressed with additional restrictions. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.7 and iPadOS 26.7, iOS 27 and iPadOS 27, macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data. |
| In gmc_phy_lp3_exit_restore_registers of phy_power.c, there is a possible escalation of privilege due to a missing bounds check. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with System execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. |
| Strimzi provides a way to run an Apache Kafka cluster on Kubernetes or OpenShift in various deployment configurations. In Strimzi 1.0.0 and earlier, an attacker who can create a Kafka custom resource can set Kafka.spec.entityOperator watchedNamespace to a target namespace, causing the Cluster Operator to create a Role with full Secret CRUD permissions there and bind it to the Entity Operator ServiceAccount in the attacker's namespace. The attacker can mint a token for that ServiceAccount and read or write Secrets in any target namespace where the Cluster Operator has been granted permissions, regardless of STRIMZI_NAMESPACE. This issue is fixed in versions 1.0.1 and 1.1.0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
USB: serial: io_ti: fix heap overflow in get_manuf_info()
get_manuf_info() reads le16_to_cpu(rom_desc->Size) bytes from the
device I2C EEPROM into a buffer allocated with kmalloc_obj(), which
is sizeof(struct edge_ti_manuf_descriptor) = 10 bytes.
The Size field comes from the device and is only validated (in
check_i2c_image()) to make sure the descriptor fits within
TI_MAX_I2C_SIZE (16384 bytes), not against the destination buffer size.
A malicious USB device can therefore set Size to any value up to 16377,
causing a heap overflow of up to 16367 bytes when plugged into a host
running this driver.
valid_csum() is called after read_rom() and also iterates
buffer[0..Size-1], compounding the out-of-bounds access.
Fix by rejecting descriptors with unexpected length before calling
read_rom().

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
Bluetooth: l2cap: Add missing chan lock in l2cap_ecred_reconf_rsp
l2cap_ecred_reconf_rsp() calls l2cap_chan_del() without holding
l2cap_chan_lock(). Every other l2cap_chan_del() caller in the file
acquires the lock first. A remote BLE device can send a crafted
L2CAP ECRED reconfiguration response to corrupt the channel list
while another thread is iterating it.
Add l2cap_chan_hold() and l2cap_chan_lock() before l2cap_chan_del(),
and l2cap_chan_unlock() and l2cap_chan_put() after, matching the
pattern used in l2cap_ecred_conn_rsp() and l2cap_conn_del(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
crypto: ccp - copy IV using skcipher ivsize
AF_ALG rfc3686-ctr-aes-ccp requests pass an 8-byte IV to the driver.
ccp_aes_complete() restores AES_BLOCK_SIZE bytes into the caller's IV
buffer while RFC3686 skciphers expose an 8-byte IV, so the restore
overruns the provided buffer.
Use crypto_skcipher_ivsize() to copy only the algorithm's IV length. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ipv6: fix possible UAF in icmpv6_rcv()
Caching saddr and daddr before pskb_pull() is problematic
since skb->head can change.
Remove these temporary variables:
- We only access &ipv6_hdr(skb)->saddr and &ipv6_hdr(skb)->daddr
when net_dbg_ratelimited() is called in the slow path.
- Avoid potential future misuse after pskb_pull() call. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nat: use kfree_rcu to release ops
Florian Westphal says:
"Historically this is not an issue, even for normal base hooks: the data
path doesn't use the original nf_hook_ops that are used to register the
callbacks.
However, in v5.14 I added the ability to dump the active netfilter
hooks from userspace.
This code will peek back into the nf_hook_ops that are available
at the tail of the pointer-array blob used by the datapath.
The nat hooks are special, because they are called indirectly from
the central nat dispatcher hook. They are currently invisible to
the nfnl hook dump subsystem though.
But once that changes the nat ops structures have to be deferred too."
Update nf_nat_register_fn() to deal with partial exposition of the hooks
from error path which can be also an issue for nfnetlink_hook. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/mana: Remove user triggerable WARN_ON() in mana_ib_create_qp_rss()
Sashiko points out that the user can specify WQs sharing the same CQ as a
part of the uAPI and this will trigger the WARN_ON() then go on to corrupt
the kernel.
Just reject it outright and fail the QP creation. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
selinux: fix overlayfs mmap() and mprotect() access checks
The existing SELinux security model for overlayfs is to allow access if
the current task is able to access the top level file (the "user" file)
and the mounter's credentials are sufficient to access the lower
level file (the "backing" file). Unfortunately, the current code does
not properly enforce these access controls for both mmap() and mprotect()
operations on overlayfs filesystems.
This patch makes use of the newly created security_mmap_backing_file()
LSM hook to provide the missing backing file enforcement for mmap()
operations, and leverages the backing file API and new LSM blob to
provide the necessary information to properly enforce the mprotect()
access controls. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
rxrpc: Fix potential UAF after skb_unshare() failure
If skb_unshare() fails to unshare a packet due to allocation failure in
rxrpc_input_packet(), the skb pointer in the parent (rxrpc_io_thread())
will be NULL'd out. This will likely cause the call to
trace_rxrpc_rx_done() to oops.
Fix this by moving the unsharing down to where rxrpc_input_call_event()
calls rxrpc_input_call_packet(). There are a number of places prior to
that where we ignore DATA packets for a variety of reasons (such as the
call already being complete) for which an unshare is then avoided.
And with that, rxrpc_input_packet() doesn't need to take a pointer to the
pointer to the packet, so change that to just a pointer. |
| The issue was addressed with improved checks. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6, visionOS 26.6. An app may be able to access user-sensitive data. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
netfilter: nft_set_pipapo_avx2: don't return non-matching entry on expiry
New test case fails unexpectedly when avx2 matching functions are used.
The test first loads a ranomly generated pipapo set
with 'ipv4 . port' key, i.e. nft -f foo.
This works. Then, it reloads the set after a flush:
(echo flush set t s; cat foo) | nft -f -
This is expected to work, because its the same set after all and it was
already loaded once.
But with avx2, this fails: nft reports a clashing element.
The reported clash is of following form:
We successfully re-inserted
a . b
c . d
Then we try to insert a . d
avx2 finds the already existing a . d, which (due to 'flush set') is marked
as invalid in the new generation. It skips the element and moves to next.
Due to incorrect masking, the skip-step finds the next matching
element *only considering the first field*,
i.e. we return the already reinserted "a . b", even though the
last field is different and the entry should not have been matched.
No such error is reported for the generic c implementation (no avx2) or when
the last field has to use the 'nft_pipapo_avx2_lookup_slow' fallback.
Bisection points to
7711f4bb4b36 ("netfilter: nft_set_pipapo: fix range overlap detection")
but that fix merely uncovers this bug.
Before this commit, the wrong element is returned, but erronously
reported as a full, identical duplicate.
The root-cause is too early return in the avx2 match functions.
When we process the last field, we should continue to process data
until the entire input size has been consumed to make sure no stale
bits remain in the map. |
| A privacy issue was addressed by moving sensitive data. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6. An app may be able to fingerprint the user. |
| zlt2000 microservices-platform through 6.0.0 contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the search-center service that allows authenticated attackers to read any Elasticsearch index by specifying the index name in POST /search/{indexName} and GET /agg/requestStat/{indexName}/{routing} path variables. Attackers can query arbitrary indices including sys_user to retrieve sensitive user records and password hashes without proper access controls. |
| zlt2000 microservices-platform through 6.0.0 contains an unverified password change vulnerability in the PUT /users/password endpoint that allows authenticated users to change any account password by omitting the current password check. Attackers can supply an arbitrary user id in the request body and a new password to overwrite credentials of any non-administrator account without verification. |
| A buffer overflow was addressed with improved bounds checking. This issue is fixed in macOS Golden Gate 27, macOS Sequoia 15.8, macOS Tahoe 26.7. Mounting a malicious disk image may cause unexpected system termination. |
| An authorization issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6, macOS Tahoe 26.6. An app may be able to access sensitive user data. |
