CVE-2026-53580 1 Triliumnext 1 Trilium 2026-08-28 8.1 High
Trilium is an open-source hierarchical note-taking application. In versions prior to 0.104.0, the automatic image-download feature accepts file:// URLs in a note's img tags and reads the referenced local file with no path validation, allowing any authenticated user to disclose arbitrary files readable by the Trilium process. When a text note is saved, Trilium scans its HTML for image sources and downloads each external one; because the HTML sanitizer keeps file as an allowed scheme, a source such as file:///etc/passwd is passed straight to a filesystem read and its contents are stored as a note attachment the user can then retrieve. Pointing the same primitive at an unbounded source such as /dev/zero causes uncontrolled memory allocation that crashes the server process. The feature is enabled by default and is reachable through the web UI, the ETAPI, the web clipper, and note imports, requiring only an authenticated session or an ETAPI token. This issue is fixed in version 0.104.0
CVE-2026-64896 1 Johnson Controls 1 T2000 2026-08-27 N/A
Debug and Test Interface With Improper Access Control vulnerability in Johnson Controls T2000 allows Accessing Functionality Not Properly Constrained by ACLs. This issue affects T2000: before 31.6.
CVE-2026-77016 2026-08-27 9.6 Critical
The Workeera WordPress plugin before 1.0.6 does not restrict which values may be written to a user's own candidate profile, and does not validate or contain the stored file path before deleting it, allowing users with a role as low as subscriber to delete arbitrary files on the server.
CVE-2026-78679 2 Gitpython-developers, Gitpython Project 2 Gitpython, Gitpython 2026-08-27 6.5 Medium
GitPython before 3.1.59 contains an arbitrary file read vulnerability in TagReference.create() where a positional reference parameter bypasses the unsafe option guard. Attackers can supply a reference value like --file=<path> to read arbitrary files, with contents returned in the annotated tag message.
CVE-2026-76399 1 Splunk 2 Ai Toolkit, Splunk Ai Toolkit 2026-08-26 8.1 High
In Splunk AI Toolkit versions below 6.0.1, a user who holds the "power" Splunk role could modify app-provided scheduled searches to run arbitrary Search Processing Language (SPL) using the permissions of the search owner, which could allow access to all relevant data and affect system integrity. The vulnerability is possible because Splunk AI Toolkit gives the "power" Splunk role permission to modify scheduled searches that run using the permissions of the search owner.
CVE-2026-76261 1 Splunk 3 Splunk, Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Secure Gateway 2026-08-26 5.3 Medium
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, and Splunk Secure Gateway versions below 3.10.9, 3.9.23, and 3.8.70, a user who does not hold the "admin" or "power" Splunk roles could read Spacebridge asymmetric private keys, which are secrets that compromise affected Spacebridge private-key material stored in the app collection, through the Splunk Secure Gateway App Key Value Store Representational State Transfer (REST) API. The vulnerability is possible on instances upgraded from older Splunk Secure Gateway deployments when the private-key migration remains incomplete, leaving key material in a collection with an insecure default access control list.
CVE-2026-18270 1 Kenwood 1 Dnr1007xr 2026-08-26 N/A
Kenwood DNR1007XR udhcpd Incorrect Permission Assignment Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows local attackers to escalate privileges on affected installations of Kenwood DNR1007XR devices. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute low-privileged code on the target system in order to exploit this vulnerability. The specific flaw exists within the udhcpd service. The issue results from incorrect permissions set on a resource used by the service. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to escalate privileges and execute code in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-29111.
CVE-2026-62581 1 Oracle 1 Hyperion Infrastructure Technology 2026-08-26 7.8 High
Vulnerability in the Oracle Hyperion Infrastructure Technology product of Oracle Hyperion (component: Installation and Configuration). The supported version that is affected is 11.2.25.0.000. Easily exploitable vulnerability allows low privileged attacker with logon to the infrastructure where Oracle Hyperion Infrastructure Technology executes to compromise Oracle Hyperion Infrastructure Technology. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in takeover of Oracle Hyperion Infrastructure Technology. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 7.8 (Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H).
CVE-2026-54134 1 Octoprint 1 Octoprint 2026-08-26 N/A
OctoPrint provides a web interface for controlling consumer 3D printers. Prior to 1.11.8 and 2.0.0rc3, OctoPrint's custom Tornado upload handler and Flask with Werkzeug parse request parameters differently, allowing an attacker with FILE_UPLOAD permission to inject reserved internal upload fields through query parameters or parser differentials despite the earlier GHSA-m9jh-jf9h-x3h2 fix. The affected endpoints are /api/files/{local|sdcard}, /api/languages, /plugin/backup/restore, and /plugin/pluginmanager/upload_file. An attacker can make OctoPrint treat an arbitrary host file as a temporary upload, move it into a downloadable upload directory, disclose configuration secrets or other readable files, and remove runtime files in a way that can affect a later restart. This issue is fixed in versions 1.11.8 and 2.0.0rc3.
CVE-2026-48750 1 Lxc 1 Incus 2026-08-26 9.9 Critical
Incus is a system container and virtual machine manager. Prior to version 7.2.0, the `record-output` parameter of the `/instances/$name/exec` endpoint stores the output of the command in the `exec-output` directory of the instance. If `exec-output` is a symlink, file named `exec_UUID.stdout` and `exec_UUID.stderr` can be written to an arbitrary location where the `.stdout` file will contain arbitrary content. This behavior can be abused for arbitrary command execution. Version 7.2.0 contains a patch.
CVE-2026-77693 2026-08-26 8.7 High
The Order Tip for WooCommerce WordPress plugin before 1.6.0 does not check the capability of the user requesting a file deletion, nor does it restrict which path may be deleted, allowing users with the Shop Manager role and above to delete arbitrary files on the server, which could lead to the site being taken over.
CVE-2026-19913 2026-08-26 7.5 High
The Kaltura HTML5 player (mwEmbed / html5lib) contains a local file disclosure vulnerability due to improper validation of the ServiceUrl parameter in mwEmbedLoader.php. This parameter is used as the base URL for a backend request and accepts non‑HTTP schemes such as file://. When an exception or error occurs, the response is subsequently deserialized and its raw contents are reflected to the client in an error message; this enables an unauthenticated, remote attacker to read any arbitrary internal file reachable by the server. Affected versions include html5lib v2.45, v2.103 and earlier, and other v2.x releases exposing the vulnerable endpoint.
CVE-2026-58192 1 Appium 2 Appium, Appium\/storage-plugin 2026-08-26 8.6 High
Appium is a cross-platform automation framework for all kinds of apps, built on top of the W3C WebDriver protocol. Prior to 1.1.6, the Appium storage plugin exposes POST /storage/delete, whose handler passes the user-supplied name value directly into path.join(storageRoot, name) and fs.rimraf() without path sanitization, allowing an unauthenticated remote client to escape the storage root with ../ sequences and recursively delete arbitrary writable files or directories. This issue is fixed in version 1.1.6.
CVE-2026-76260 1 Splunk 2 Splunk, Splunk Enterprise 2026-08-26 6.5 Medium
In Splunk Enterprise versions below 10.4.2, 10.2.6, 10.0.9, and 9.4.14, a user that holds a role with the rest_properties_get capability could read encrypted stored credentials through the Representational State Transfer (REST) API. Successful exploitation can expose relevant data protected by the stored credentials. The incorrect permission assignment is possible because the properties REST endpoint requires the rest_properties_get capability instead of the list_storage_passwords capability to read stored credentials. For more information see Define roles on the Splunk platform with capabilities (https://help.splunk.com/en/splunk-enterprise/administer/manage-users-and-security/10.4/manage-splunk-platform-users-and-roles/define-roles-on-the-splunk-platform-with-capabilities) in the Splunk documentation.
CVE-2026-55609 1 Ruvnet 1 Sublinear-time-solver 2026-08-26 7.1 High
sublinear-time-solver is a Rust and WebAssembly library for solving asymmetric diagonally dominant systems in sublinear time. Prior to consciousness-explorer 1.1.2 and sublinear-time-solver 1.6.0, the export_state and import_state tools in src/consciousness-explorer/mcp/server.js pass the attacker-controlled filepath parameter to filesystem operations in src/consciousness-explorer/index.js without restricting the destination or rejecting traversal. The saveVectorToFile and loadVectorFromFile tools in src/mcp/server.ts contain the same sink class through the file_path parameter. An attacker able to invoke the MCP tools can read, write, or overwrite any file accessible to the server process, causing confidentiality and integrity loss and possible service disruption. This issue is fixed in consciousness-explorer 1.1.2 and sublinear-time-solver 1.6.0.
CVE-2026-62865 1 Baptistearno 1 Typebot.io 2026-08-26 N/A
Typebot is an open-source chatbot builder. In self-hosted versions prior to 3.18.0, the server-side Send Email integration block allows arbitrary reading of local files on the server. The block builds Nodemailer attachments from a typebot variable, and its parseAttachments helper returns the supplied value as a filesystem path whenever it does not start with the application's own base URL, instead of requiring an http or https URL. The Nodemailer transport is created without disableFileAccess or disableUrlAccess, both of which default to false, so an attachment specified as an absolute server path is read from the local filesystem and delivered. Because both the attachment value and the recipient list are attacker-controllable typebot variables, any registered user can publish a bot whose Send Email block attaches an absolute path such as /etc/passwd or /proc/self/environ and mails it to an address they control. This enables reading any file the server process can access, including process environment secrets such as the credential encryption key and database connection string, without administrative privileges or victim interaction. Open signup is enabled by default and the system SMTP credential is already configured, so no non-default configuration is required. This issue is fixed in version 3.18.0.
CVE-2026-55527 1 Mervinpraison 1 Praisonai 2026-08-25 7.1 High
PraisonAI is a multi-agent teams system. Prior to praisonaiagents 1.6.58, the FileMemory constructor joins unsanitized user_id into self.user_path. A caller supplying ../ or path separators can escape the memory directory and write JSON data to arbitrary process-writable locations. The fix sanitizes user_id before constructing self.user_path. This issue is fixed in version 1.6.58.
CVE-2026-49360 1 Datarecce 1 Recce 2026-08-25 N/A
Recce is a data-validation toolkit for enhanced dbt (data build tool) PR review. Prior to version 1.50.0, OSS server deployments that expose the server to an untrusted network without authentication are vulnerable to unauthenticated SQL execution through the query run API. When Recce is configured with a DuckDB-backed project, an attacker can use DuckDB filesystem primitives to read and write files accessible to the Recce server process. The impact depends on how Recce is deployed, but may include disclosure of local files, tampering with Recce/dbt artifacts, modification of browser-served static files leading to stored XSS, and modification of application files if those paths are writable. If Recce is run as root, file access occurs with root privileges inside that host or container. This issue has been patched in Recce `v1.50.0`. Users should upgrade to Recce `v1.50.0` or later. The patch restricts unsafe file read/write behavior for DuckDB-backed query execution and hardens the affected query path. Other warehouse adapters have also been reviewed for similar exposure. Users who cannot upgrade immediately should avoid exposing `recce server` to the public internet or any untrusted network. Recommended mitigations include enabling authentication or placing Recce behind an authenticated reverse proxy/VPN, running Recce as a non-root user, using a read-only application filesystem where possible, and ensuring that sensitive files or credentials are not available to the Recce process.
CVE-2026-79783 1 Rclone 1 Rclone 2026-08-25 3.6 Low
rclone before 1.74.4 fails to mask special permission bits when applying source-supplied mode metadata in the local backend, allowing attackers to set setuid/setgid bits on attacker-controlled files. When copying with metadata preservation from an untrusted remote, attackers can plant a setuid binary that escalates privileges to root if rclone runs as root, or to the service account user otherwise.
CVE-2026-79674 1 Nltk 1 Nltk 2026-08-25 8.2 High
NLTK versions before 3.10.3 contain a path sandbox bypass vulnerability in corpus-reader constructors that allows attackers to read files outside the intended data root. Attackers can supply arbitrary corpus root paths to LinThesaurusCorpusReader and PanLexLiteCorpusReader constructors to access filesystem content and SQLite databases outside the pathsec sandbox boundary.
