Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains a Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') vulnerability. An unauthenticated attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service.
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Log File vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure.
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Insertion of Sensitive Information into Externally-Accessible File or Directory vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to information exposure.
Dell SCG 5.0 Appliance versions prior to 5.36.00.16 and Dell SCG 5.0 Application versions prior to 5.36.00.00, contains an Unsynchronized Access to Shared Data in a Multithreaded Context vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with remote access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to denial of service.
Deserialization of untrusted data in SQL Server allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
Insufficiently protected credentials in Microsoft Office allows an unauthorized attacker to perform spoofing over a network.
Incorrect authorization in Loader in Google Chrome prior to 153.0.8010.36 allowed a remote attacker to obtain sensitive information via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A flaw was found in bubblewrap. During sandbox setup, creating files or directories under the new root can follow a parent symlink onto the host via /oldroot, writing attacker-chosen paths outside the sandbox as the launching user. This happens before the sandboxed process starts. This issue is GHSA-pxhw-h44j-8pfx. It is fixed in bubblewrap 0.12.0.
Deserialization of untrusted data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 allows an authorized attacker to execute code over a network.
| An improper link resolution before file access vulnerability exists in the Palo Alto Networks Prisma® Access Agent on Linux platforms that enables a local low privileged user to delete system files in a limited scope and disable Prisma Access Agent.
The Prisma Access Agent on macOS, Windows, iOS, Android, and Chrome OS is not affected. |
A weakness has been identified in tile-ai tilelang up to 0.1.14. This impacts the function KernelCache._load_kernel_from_disk of the file tilelang/cache/kernel_cache.py of the component Kernel Cache. Executing a manipulation can lead to deserialization. The attack may be performed from remote. This patch is called 11ec2397fe942e8b422d026af4a03d6e0a55ae6c. Applying a patch is advised to resolve this issue. Based on the release information, the fix has not been included in any official release yet.
A security bypass vulnerability in the Account Protection feature of Palo Alto Networks Prisma® Browser enables a user to bypass intended security controls.
An information disclosure vulnerability in the Account Protection feature of Palo Alto Networks Prisma® Browser enables a local attacker to view sensitive data.
EAP's Artemis deserialization configuration permits deserialization by default. ObjectMessage.getObject() uses ObjectInputStreamWithClassLoader, which implements allow-list/block-list filtering via its checkSecurity()/isTrustedType() method. However, by default both allow-list and block-list are empty. When the allow-list is empty (size == 0), isTrustedType() returns true for ALL classes. This means all classes are deserializable by default.
IBM App Connect Enterprise 13.0.1.0 through 13.0.8.1, and 12.0.1.0 through 12.0.12.28 and IBM Integration Bus for z/OS 10.1.0.0 through 10.1.0.7 could allow a local attacker to obtain sensitive information due to improper logging of database credentials.
IBM Enterprise Build of Quarkus 3.27.1 through 3.27.5, and 3.33.1 through 3.33.3 could allow an attacker to bypass authorization by manipulating URL query parameters due to incorrect mapping of values to untrusted query string input.
attr before version 2.6.0 contains a symlink traversal vulnerability in the getfattr and setfattr utilities that allows local attackers to escalate privileges by replacing a pathname component with a symbolic link during directory hierarchy traversal. Attackers who control a pathname component can redirect getfattr and setfattr operations to arbitrary files by substituting a symlink, leading to local privilege escalation when getfattr or setfattr is invoked by a privileged process over an attacker-controlled path.
acl before version 2.4.0 contains a symlink traversal vulnerability in the libacl pathname-based functions acl_get_file(), acl_set_file(), acl_extended_file(), and acl_delete_def_file() that allows local attackers to escalate privileges by replacing any pathname component with a symbolic link. Attackers who control any component of a pathname processed by a privileged caller can redirect ACL read or write operations to arbitrary files or directories, enabling unauthorized manipulation of access control lists and local privilege escalation.
| Arbitrary Class Instantiation via Model Manifest in Apache OpenNLP ExtensionLoader
Versions Affected: before 1.9.5, before 2.5.9, before 3.0.0-M3
Description:
The ExtensionLoader.instantiateExtension(Class, String) method loads a class by its fully-qualified name via Class.forName() and invokes its no-arg constructor, with the class name sourced from the manifest.properties entry of a model archive. The existing isAssignableFrom check correctly rejects classes that are not subtypes of the expected extension interface (BaseToolFactory for factory=, ArtifactSerializer for serializer-class-*), but the check runs after Class.forName() has already loaded and initialized the named class.
Class.forName() with default initialization semantics executes the target class's static initializer before returning, so an attacker who can supply a crafted model archive can cause the static initializer of any class on the classpath to run during model loading, regardless of whether that class passes the subsequent type check.
Exploitation requires a class with attacker-useful side effects in its static initializer (for example, JNDI lookup, outbound network I/O, or filesystem access) to be present on the classpath, so this is not a drop-in remote code execution; however, the attack surface grows as third-party model distribution becomes more common (community model repositories, Hugging Face-style sharing), where users routinely load model files from origins they do not control. A secondary, narrower vector affects deployments that ship legitimate BaseToolFactory or ArtifactSerializer subclasses with side-effecting no-arg constructors: a malicious manifest can name such a class and force its constructor to run during model load.
Mitigation:
* 2.x users should upgrade to 2.5.9.
* 3.x users should upgrade to 3.0.0-M3.
Note: The fix introduces a package-prefix allowlist that is consulted before Class.forName() is invoked, so the static initializer of a disallowed class is never executed. Classes under the opennlp. prefix remain permitted by default. Deployments that load models referencing factories or serializers outside opennlp.* must opt those packages in, either programmatically via ExtensionLoader.registerAllowedPackage(String) before the first model load, or by setting the OPENNLP_EXT_ALLOWED_PACKAGES system property to a comma-separated list of allowed package prefixes.
Users who cannot upgrade immediately should ensure that all model files are sourced from trusted origins and should audit their classpath for classes with side-effecting static initializers or constructors, particularly any that perform JNDI lookups, network requests, or filesystem operations during class initialization. |
