| Heap-based buffer overflow in Microsoft Office Excel allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code locally. |
| NVIDIA DGX Spark contains a vulnerability in the standalone MM firmware where an attacker could be able to cause an out-of-bounds read. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to information disclosure. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
RDMA/mana: Remove user triggerable WARN_ON() in mana_ib_create_qp_rss()
Sashiko points out that the user can specify WQs sharing the same CQ as a
part of the uAPI and this will trigger the WARN_ON() then go on to corrupt
the kernel.
Just reject it outright and fail the QP creation. |
| Netty is an asynchronous, event-driven network application framework. Prior to 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final, Netty's DNS codec does not enforce RFC 1035 domain name constraints during either encoding or decoding. This creates a bidirectional attack surface: malicious DNS responses can exploit the decoder, and user-influenced hostnames can exploit the encoder. This vulnerability is fixed in 4.2.13.Final and 4.1.133.Final. |
| GIMP HDR File Parsing Heap-based Buffer Overflow Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code on affected installations of GIMP. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability in that the target must visit a malicious page or open a malicious file.
The specific flaw exists within the parsing of HDR files. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of the length of user-supplied data prior to copying it to a heap-based buffer. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to execute code in the context of the current process. Was ZDI-CAN-28266. |
| A flaw was found in GStreamer gst-plugins-good (avidemux). In gst_avi_demux_riff_parse_vprp(), the number of available gst_riff_vprp_video_field_desc entries is calculated by dividing the remaining buffer size by the attacker-controlled vprp->fields value, rather than by sizeof(gst_riff_vprp_video_field_desc). This can cause the parser to treat more field descriptors as available than fit in the input buffer, resulting in out-of-bounds reads. Processing a crafted AVI via playbin/decodebin can crash the application (denial of service). Fixed upstream in gst-plugins-good 1.28.6 (GStreamer-SA-2026-0072). |
