CVSS v3.1 |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ocfs2: mount fails with buffer overflow in strlen
Starting with kernel 5.11 built with CONFIG_FORTIFY_SOURCE mouting an
ocfs2 filesystem with either o2cb or pcmk cluster stack fails with the
trace below. Problem seems to be that strings for cluster stack and
cluster name are not guaranteed to be null terminated in the disk
representation, while strlcpy assumes that the source string is always
null terminated. This causes a read outside of the source string
triggering the buffer overflow detection.

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wl1251: Fix possible buffer overflow in wl1251_cmd_scan
Function wl1251_cmd_scan calls memcpy without checking the length.
Harden by checking the length is within the maximum allowed size. |
Inappropriate implementation in XML in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
There is a heap buffer overflow vulnerability in some Hikvision cameras, which may allow unauthenticated attackers to cause device malfunction by sending specially crafted packets.
A vulnerability was detected in GL.iNet MT3000, MT6000, BE9300, BE3600, MT3600BE, E5800, BE6500, MT5000, X3000, XE3000 and MT2500 up to 20260707. The affected element is the function nas-web.get_file_list of the component APPS-NAS Module. Performing a manipulation results in heap-based buffer overflow. The attack may be initiated remotely. The vendor was contacted early about this disclosure and confirmed the existence of the vulnerability.
A heap buffer overflow vulnerability was found in GStreamer's librfb (RFB/VNC client). The rectangle bounds check incorrectly validates area rather than individual dimensions, allowing a malicious VNC server to send a rectangle that extends beyond the framebuffer. A remote attacker could set up a malicious VNC server and trick a user into connecting, resulting in an out-of-bounds heap write that could lead to code execution or a crash.
Heap buffer overflow in Chromecast in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Insufficient data validation in Storage in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.47 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
In Telephony, there is a possible memory corruption due to a heap buffer overflow. This could lead to local escalation of privilege if a malicious actor has already obtained the System privilege. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: ALPS11006447; Issue ID: MSV-7871.
Heap buffer overflow in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.46 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Critical)
Improper input validation in Samsung Pass prior to version 5.2.10.3 allows local privileged attackers to write out-of-bounds memory.
Bridge is affected by a Heap-based Buffer Overflow vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file.
GoAccess is a real-time web log analyzer and interactive viewer that runs in a terminal in *nix systems or through the browser. In version 1.10.2, parse_browser assumes the matched browser token begins with Opera and moves a trailing version substring to match plus five, allowing a crafted User-Agent in a processed access log to write one to four attacker-influenced bytes beyond the heap allocation and corrupt or crash GoAccess. This issue is fixed in version 1.11.
Inappropriate implementation in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.46 allowed a remote attacker who convinced a user to engage in specific UI gestures to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Low)
NVIDIA TensorRT contains a vulnerability where an attacker might cause a heap-based buffer overflow. A successful exploit of this vulnerability might lead to code execution.
Heap buffer overflow in Color in Google Chrome on ChromeOS prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
Insufficient policy enforcement in Speech in Google Chrome on Android prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to perform privilege escalation via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
A flaw was found in libsolv. This heap buffer overflow vulnerability occurs when a victim processes a specially crafted `.solv` file containing negative size values in the `repo_add_solv` function. This leads to an undersized memory allocation and a subsequent out-of-bounds write. An attacker could exploit this to cause a denial of service (DoS).
Insufficient policy enforcement in Passwords in Google Chrome on Android prior to 151.0.7922.72 allowed a remote attacker to bypass discretionary access control via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: Medium)
Inappropriate implementation in DOM in Google Chrome prior to 150.0.7871.115 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
