CVE-2021-47179 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4: Fix a NULL pointer dereference in pnfs_mark_matching_lsegs_return() Commit de144ff4234f changes _pnfs_return_layout() to call pnfs_mark_matching_lsegs_return() passing NULL as the struct pnfs_layout_range argument. Unfortunately, pnfs_mark_matching_lsegs_return() doesn't check if we have a value here before dereferencing it, causing an oops. I'm able to hit this crash consistently when running connectathon basic tests on NFS v4.1/v4.2 against Ontap.
CVE-2021-46983 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nvmet-rdma: Fix NULL deref when SEND is completed with error When running some traffic and taking down the link on peer, a retry counter exceeded error is received. This leads to nvmet_rdma_error_comp which tried accessing the cq_context to obtain the queue. The cq_context is no longer valid after the fix to use shared CQ mechanism and should be obtained similar to how it is obtained in other functions from the wc->qp. [ 905.786331] nvmet_rdma: SEND for CQE 0x00000000e3337f90 failed with status transport retry counter exceeded (12). CVE-2021-46948 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.5 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: sfc: farch: fix TX queue lookup in TX event handling We're starting from a TXQ label, not a TXQ type, so efx_channel_get_tx_queue() is inappropriate (and could return NULL, leading to panics).
CVE-2021-46933 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: usb: gadget: f_fs: Clear ffs_eventfd in ffs_data_clear. ffs_data_clear is indirectly called from both ffs_fs_kill_sb and ffs_ep0_release, so it ends up being called twice when userland closes ep0 and then unmounts f_fs. If userland provided an eventfd along with function's USB descriptors, it ends up calling eventfd_ctx_put as many times, causing a refcount underflow. NULL-ify ffs_eventfd to prevent these extraneous eventfd_ctx_put calls. Also, set epfiles to NULL right after de-allocating it, for readability. For completeness, ffs_data_clear actually ends up being called thrice, the last call being before the whole ffs structure gets freed, so when this specific sequence happens there is a second underflow happening (but not being reported): /sys/kernel/debug/tracing# modprobe usb_f_fs /sys/kernel/debug/tracing# echo ffs_data_clear > set_ftrace_filter /sys/kernel/debug/tracing# echo function > current_tracer /sys/kernel/debug/tracing# echo 1 > tracing_on (setup gadget, run and kill function userland process, teardown gadget) /sys/kernel/debug/tracing# echo 0 > tracing_on /sys/kernel/debug/tracing# cat trace smartcard-openp-436 [000] ..... 1946.208786: ffs_data_clear <-ffs_data_closed smartcard-openp-431 [000] ..... 1946.279147: ffs_data_clear <-ffs_data_closed smartcard-openp-431 [000] .n... 1946.905512: ffs_data_clear <-ffs_data_put Warning output corresponding to above trace: [ 1946.284139] WARNING: CPU: 0 PID: 431 at lib/refcount.c:28 refcount_warn_saturate+0x110/0x15c [ 1946.293094] refcount_t: underflow; use-after-free. CVE-2021-46912 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-04 7.3 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: net: Make tcp_allowed_congestion_control readonly in non-init netns Currently, tcp_allowed_congestion_control is global and writable; writing to it in any net namespace will leak into all other net namespaces. tcp_available_congestion_control and tcp_allowed_congestion_control are the only sysctls in ipv4_net_table (the per-netns sysctl table) with a NULL data pointer; their handlers (proc_tcp_available_congestion_control and proc_allowed_congestion_control) have no other way of referencing a struct net. Thus, they operate globally. Because ipv4_net_table does not use designated initializers, there is no easy way to fix up this one "bad" table entry. However, the data pointer updating logic shouldn't be applied to NULL pointers anyway, so we instead force these entries to be read-only. These sysctls used to exist in ipv4_table (init-net only), but they were moved to the per-net ipv4_net_table, presumably without realizing that tcp_allowed_congestion_control was writable and thus introduced a leak. Because the intent of that commit was only to know (i.e. read) "which congestion algorithms are available or allowed", this read-only solution should be sufficient. The logic added in recent commit 31c4d2f160eb: ("net: Ensure net namespace isolation of sysctls") does not and cannot check for NULL data pointers, because other table entries (e.g. /proc/sys/net/netfilter/nf_log/) have .data=NULL but use other methods (.extra2) to access the struct net.
CVE-2026-67288 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-08-03 7.5 High
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability in smartcard cache request decoders that accept NULL NDR pointers for LookupName in SCARD_IOCTL_READCACHEA and SCARD_IOCTL_WRITECACHEA operations. When smartcard emulation is enabled, attackers can send crafted smartcard cache requests with NULL lookup-name pointers to trigger strlen() on a null pointer, causing client process termination.
CVE-2026-64457 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-08-03 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: virtio_pci: fix vq info pointer lookup via wrong index Unbinding a virtio balloon device: echo virtio0 > /sys/bus/virtio/drivers/virtio_balloon/unbind triggers a NULL pointer dereference. The dmesg says: BUG: kernel NULL pointer dereference, address: 0000000000000008 [...] RIP: 0010:__list_del_entry_valid_or_report+0x5/0xf0 Call Trace: <TASK> vp_del_vqs+0x121/0x230 remove_common+0x135/0x150 virtballoon_remove+0xee/0x100 virtio_dev_remove+0x3b/0x80 device_release_driver_internal+0x187/0x2c0 unbind_store+0xb9/0xe0 kernfs_fop_write_iter.llvm.11660790530567441834+0xf6/0x180 vfs_write+0x2a9/0x3b0 ksys_write+0x5c/0xd0 do_syscall_64+0x54/0x230 entry_SYSCALL_64_after_hwframe+0x29/0x31 [...] </TASK> The virtio_balloon device registers 5 queues (inflate, deflate, stats, free_page, reporting) but only the first two are unconditional. The stats, free_page and reporting queues are each conditional on their respective feature bits. When any of these features are absent, the corresponding vqs_info entry has name == NULL, creating holes in the array. The root cause is an indexing mismatch introduced when vq info storage was changed to be passed as an argument. vp_find_vqs_msix() and vp_find_vqs_intx() store the info pointer at vp_dev->vqs[i], where 'i' is the caller's sparse array index. However, the virtqueue itself gets vq->index assigned from queue_idx, a dense index that skips NULL entries. When holes exist, 'i' and queue_idx diverge. Later, vp_del_vqs() looks up info via vp_dev->vqs[vq->index] using the dense index into the sparsely-populated array, and hits NULL. Fix this by storing info at vp_dev->vqs[queue_idx] instead of vp_dev->vqs[i], so the store index matches the lookup index (vq->index). Apply the fix to both the MSIX and INTX paths.
CVE-2026-67304 1 Freerdp 1 Freerdp 2026-08-03 7.5 High
FreeRDP before 3.29.0 contains a null pointer dereference vulnerability in smartcard device control request cleanup when reader-state decoding fails. Attackers can send malformed smartcard IRP requests with non-zero cReaders and truncated reader-state data to crash the process via null pointer access in free_reader_states functions.

CVE-2025-69624 3 Gonitro, Microsoft, Nitro 3 Nitro Pdf Pro, Windows, Pdf Pro 2026-07-31 7.5 High
Nitro PDF Pro before 14.43 for Windows contains a NULL pointer dereference vulnerability in the JavaScript implementation of app.alert(). When app.alert() is called with more than one argument and the first argument evaluates to null (for example, app.alert(app.activeDocs, true) when app.activeDocs is null), the engine routes the call through a fallback path intended for non-string arguments. In this path, js_ValueToString() is invoked on the null value and returns an invalid string pointer, which is then passed to JS_GetStringChars() without validation. Dereferencing this pointer leads to an access violation and application crash when opening a crafted PDF. For example, 14.41.1.4 and 14.42.0.34 have been reported as vulnerable.
CVE-2026-0156 1 Google 1 Android 2026-07-31 6.5 Medium
In checkSsrcCollisionOnRcv of RtpSession.cpp, there is a possible memory safety issue due to a missing null check. This could lead to remote denial of service with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
CVE-2026-36912 1 Aleksoid1978 1 Mpc-be 2026-07-31 7.5 High
A NULL pointer dereference in the AP4_AtomSampleTable::GetSample() function of Aleksoid1978 MPC-BE before commit 4341cb3 allows attackers to cause a Denial of Service (DoS) via a crafted MP4 file.
CVE-2026-38976 2026-07-31 7.5 High
mrubyc through 3.4.1 was found to contain a NULL pointer dereference in src/vm.c in op_super() / OP_SUPER due to a missing runtime guard for top-level super.
CVE-2026-50812 1 Sqlite 1 Sqlite 2026-07-31 5.5 Medium
A NULL pointer dereference in the SQLite Session Extension in SQLite 3.53.1 and SQLite trunk builds before check-in e807d4e3798efd53 allows an attacker who can supply a malformed changeset blob to cause a denial of service. The issue occurs when sqlite3changeset_apply_v3() applies a corrupt changeset and reaches sqlite3_value_type() with a NULL sqlite3_value pointer.
CVE-2025-56363 1 Csa-iot 1 Matter 2026-07-31 7.5 High
A null pointer dereference vulnerability exists in the Matter SDK (connectedhomeip) before 1.4.0, affecting the ReadRevisionAttribute function used in multiple clusters (Channel, Account Login, TargetNavigator, etc.). The function lacks proper validation of the delegate pointer before dereferencing. A remote unauthenticated attacker can exploit this issue by sending a crafted read request, causing the device to crash (denial of service). This issue has been confirmed in SDK version v1.4 (commit ab3d5ae).
