CVSS v3.1 |
| The nfs4_proc_lock function in fs/nfs/nfs4proc.c in the NFSv4 client in the Linux kernel before 2.6.31-rc4 allows remote NFS servers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and panic) by sending a certain response containing incorrect file attributes, which trigger attempted use of an open file that lacks NFSv4 state. |
| Vulnerable cross-model authorization in juju. If a charm's cross-model permissions are revoked or expire, a malicious user who is able to update database records can mint an invalid macaroon that is incorrectly validated by the juju controller, enabling a charm to maintain otherwise revoked or expired permissions. This allows a charm to continue relating to another charm in a cross-model relation, and use their workload without their permission. No fix is available as of the time of writing. |
| iccDEV provides a set of libraries and tools for working with ICC color management profiles. Prior to 2.3.1.5, there is a heap-use-after-free in CIccCmm::AddXform() causing invalid vptr dereference and crash. This vulnerability is fixed in 2.3.1.5. |
| Amazon Cloud Cam is a home security camera that was deprecated on December 2, 2022, is end of life, and is no longer actively supported.
When a user powers on the Amazon Cloud Cam, the device attempts to connect to a remote service infrastructure that has been deprecated due to end-of-life status. The device defaults to a pairing status in which an arbitrary user can bypass SSL pinning to associate the device to an arbitrary network, allowing for network traffic interception and modification.
We recommend customers discontinue usage of any remaining Amazon Cloud Cams. |
| Reference to Expired Domain Vulnerability in OpenText™ ArcSight Enterprise Security Manager. |
| JWK Set (JSON Web Key Set) is a JWK and JWK Set Go implementation. Prior to 0.6.0, the project's provided HTTP client's local JWK Set cache should do a full replacement when the goroutine refreshes the remote JWK Set. The current behavior is to overwrite or append. This is a security issue for use cases that utilize the provided auto-caching HTTP client and where key removal from a JWK Set is equivalent to revocation. The affected auto-caching HTTP client was added in version v0.5.0 and fixed in v0.6.0. The only workaround would be to remove the provided auto-caching HTTP client and replace it with a custom implementation. This involves setting the HTTPClientStorageOptions.RefreshInterval to zero (or not specifying the value). |
| A flaw was found in the QEMU Virtio PCI Bindings (hw/virtio/virtio-pci.c). An improper release and use of the irqfd for vector 0 during the boot process leads to a guest triggerable crash via vhost_net_stop(). This flaw allows a malicious guest to crash the QEMU process on the host. |
| Mattermost versions 10.11.x <= 10.11.10 Fail to invalidate cached permalink preview data when a user loses channel access which allows the user to continue viewing private channel content via previously cached permalink previews until cache reset or relogin.. Mattermost Advisory ID: MMSA-2026-00580 |
| Parse Server is an open source backend that can be deployed to any infrastructure that can run Node.js. Prior to 9.6.0-alpha.7 and 8.6.33, when multi-factor authentication (MFA) via TOTP is enabled for a user account, Parse Server generates two single-use recovery codes. These codes are intended as a fallback when the user cannot provide a TOTP token. However, recovery codes are not consumed after use, allowing the same recovery code to be used an unlimited number of times. This defeats the single-use design of recovery codes and weakens the security of MFA-protected accounts. An attacker who obtains a single recovery code can repeatedly authenticate as the affected user without the code ever being invalidated. This vulnerability is fixed in 9.6.0-alpha.7 and 8.6.33. |
| In Plex Media Server (PMS) through 1.42.2.10156, ability to access /myplex/account with a device token is not properly aligned with whether the device is currently associated with an account. |
| When the BIG-IP Advanced WAF and ASM security policy and a server-side HTTP/2 profile are configured on a virtual server, undisclosed traffic can cause the Traffic Management Microkernel (TMM) to terminate. Note: Software versions which have reached End of Technical Support (EoTS) are not evaluated. |
| When passing through PCI devices, the detach logic in libxl won't remove
access permissions to any 64bit memory BARs the device might have. As a
result a domain can still have access any 64bit memory BAR when such
device is no longer assigned to the domain.
For PV domains the permission leak allows the domain itself to map the memory
in the page-tables. For HVM it would require a compromised device model or
stubdomain to map the leaked memory into the HVM domain p2m. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
wifi: cfg80211: clear link ID from bitmap during link delete after clean up
Currently, during link deletion, the link ID is first removed from the
valid_links bitmap before performing any clean-up operations. However, some
functions require the link ID to remain in the valid_links bitmap. One
such example is cfg80211_cac_event(). The flow is -
nl80211_remove_link()
cfg80211_remove_link()
ieee80211_del_intf_link()
ieee80211_vif_set_links()
ieee80211_vif_update_links()
ieee80211_link_stop()
cfg80211_cac_event()
cfg80211_cac_event() requires link ID to be present but it is cleared
already in cfg80211_remove_link(). Ultimately, WARN_ON() is hit.
Therefore, clear the link ID from the bitmap only after completing the link
clean-up. |

KVM: arm64: Get rid of userspace_irqchip_in_use
Improper use of userspace_irqchip_in_use led to syzbot hitting the
following WARN_ON() in kvm_timer_update_irq():

el0t_64_sync+0x190/0x194 arch/arm64/kernel/entry.S:598
The following sequence led to the scenario:
- Userspace creates a VM and a vCPU.
- The vCPU is initialized with KVM_ARM_VCPU_PMU_V3 during
KVM_ARM_VCPU_INIT.
- Without any other setup, such as vGIC or vPMU, userspace issues
KVM_RUN on the vCPU. Since the vPMU is requested, but not setup,
kvm_arm_pmu_v3_enable() fails in kvm_arch_vcpu_run_pid_change().
As a result, KVM_RUN returns after enabling the timer, but before
incrementing 'userspace_irqchip_in_use':
kvm_arch_vcpu_run_pid_change()
ret = kvm_arm_pmu_v3_enable()
if (!vcpu->arch.pmu.created)
return -EINVAL;
if (ret)
return ret;
[...]
if (!irqchip_in_kernel(kvm))
static_branch_inc(&userspace_irqchip_in_use);
- Userspace ignores the error and issues KVM_ARM_VCPU_INIT again.
Since the timer is already enabled, control moves through the
following flow, ultimately hitting the WARN_ON():
kvm_timer_vcpu_reset()
if (timer->enabled)
kvm_timer_update_irq()
if (!userspace_irqchip())
ret = kvm_vgic_inject_irq()
ret = vgic_lazy_init()
if (unlikely(!vgic_initialized(kvm)))
if (kvm->arch.vgic.vgic_model !=
KVM_DEV_TYPE_ARM_VGIC_V2)
return -EBUSY;
WARN_ON(ret);
Theoretically, since userspace_irqchip_in_use's functionality can be
simply replaced by '!irqchip_in_kernel()', get rid of the static key
to avoid the mismanagement, which also helps with the syzbot issue. |
| The snmp_pdu_parse function in snmp_api.c in net-snmp 5.7.2 and earlier does not remove the varBind variable in a netsnmp_variable_list item when parsing of the SNMP PDU fails, which allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (crash) and possibly execute arbitrary code via a crafted packet. |
| Mio is a Metal I/O library for Rust. When using named pipes on Windows, mio will under some circumstances return invalid tokens that correspond to named pipes that have already been deregistered from the mio registry. The impact of this vulnerability depends on how mio is used. For some applications, invalid tokens may be ignored or cause a warning or a crash. On the other hand, for applications that store pointers in the tokens, this vulnerability may result in a use-after-free. For users of Tokio, this vulnerability is serious and can result in a use-after-free in Tokio. The vulnerability is Windows-specific, and can only happen if you are using named pipes. Other IO resources are not affected. This vulnerability has been fixed in mio v0.8.11. All versions of mio between v0.7.2 and v0.8.10 are vulnerable. Tokio is vulnerable when you are using a vulnerable version of mio AND you are using at least Tokio v1.30.0. Versions of Tokio prior to v1.30.0 will ignore invalid tokens, so they are not vulnerable. Vulnerable libraries that use mio can work around this issue by detecting and ignoring invalid tokens. |
| The ConvolveHorizontally function in Skia, as used in Mozilla Firefox before 31.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.7, and Thunderbird before 24.7, does not properly handle the discarding of image data during function execution, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code by triggering prolonged image scaling, as demonstrated by scaling of a high-quality image. |
| The caching invalidation guidelines from the AMD-Vi specification (48882—Rev
3.07-PUB—Oct 2022) is incorrect on some hardware, as devices will malfunction
(see stale DMA mappings) if some fields of the DTE are updated but the IOMMU
TLB is not flushed.
Such stale DMA mappings can point to memory ranges not owned by the guest, thus
allowing access to unindented memory regions.

When 'ioctl(OCFS2_IOC_GROUP_ADD, ...)' has failed for the particular
inode in 'ocfs2_verify_group_and_input()', corresponding buffer head
remains cached and subsequent call to the same 'ioctl()' for the same
inode issues the BUG() in 'ocfs2_set_new_buffer_uptodate()' (trying
to cache the same buffer head of that inode). Fix this by uncaching
the buffer head with 'ocfs2_remove_from_cache()' on error path in
'ocfs2_group_add()'. |
