| Quick Agent V3 and Quick Agent V2 contain an issue with improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal'). If exploited, an arbitrary file in the affected product may be obtained by a remote attacker who can log in to the product. |
| Improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal') issue exists in the file deletion process of the USB storage file-sharing function of HGW-BL1500HM Ver 002.002.003 and earlier. If this vulnerability is exploited, an attacker may delete a file on the device or cause a denial of service (DoS) condition. |
| An incomplete fix has been identified for CVE-2025-23084 in Node.js, specifically affecting Windows device names like CON, PRN, and AUX.
This vulnerability affects Windows users of `path.join` API. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in zyx0814 Pichome 2.1.0. This affects an unknown part of the file /index.php?mod=textviewer. The manipulation of the argument src leads to path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| Quick Agent V3 and Quick Agent V2 contain an issue with improper limitation of a pathname to a restricted directory ('Path Traversal'). If exploited, arbitrary code may be executed by a remote unauthenticated attacker with the Windows system privilege where the product is running. |
| A lack of validation in the path parameter (/download) of GL-INet Beryl AX GL-MT3000 v4.7.0 allows attackers to download arbitrary files from the device's file system via a crafted POST request. |
| Dumb Drop is a file upload application. Users with permission to upload to the service are able to exploit a path traversal vulnerability to overwrite arbitrary system files. As the container runs as root by default, there is no limit to what can be overwritten. With this, it's possible to inject malicious payloads into files ran on schedule or upon certain service actions. As the service is not required to run with authentication enabled, this may permit wholly unprivileged users root access. Otherwise, anybody with a PIN. |
| The SecureDrop Client is a desktop application for journalists to communicate with sources and work with submissions on the SecureDrop Workstation. Prior to versions 0.14.1 and 1.0.1, an attacker who has already gained code execution in a virtual machine on the SecureDrop Workstation could gain code execution in the `sd-log` virtual machine by sending a specially crafted log entry. The vulnerability is not exploitable remotely and requires an attacker to already have code execution on one of the other virtual machines (VMs) of the system. Due to the Workstation's underlying usage of Qubes for strong isolation, the vulnerability would have allowed lateral movement between any log-enabled VM and the `sd-log` VM, but no further. The SecureDrop workstation collects logs centrally in an isolated virtual machine named `sd-log` for easy export for support and debugging purposes. The `sd-log` VM is completely isolated from the internet and ingests logs via a narrow Qubes RPC policy that allows for specific inter-VM communication via the Xen vchan protocol used by Qubes's qrexec mechanism. A path traversal bug was found in the logic used to choose where to write the log file for a specific VM: the VM name, used unsanitized in the destination path in `sd-log`, is supplied by the logging VM itself instead of being read from a trusted source, such as the Qubes environment variable `QREXEC_REMOTE_DOMAIN` that is used in the fixed implementation. An attacker could provide an arbitrary source VM name, possibly overwriting logs of other VMs, or writing a file named `syslog.log`, with attacker-controlled content, in arbitrary directories as a low-privileged user. A successful attack could potentially overwrite or add configuration to software that loads configuration files from a directory. This is exploitable to achieve code execution by setting the target directory to `/home/user/.config/autostart/` and letting it write `syslog.log`, because XFCE treats any file in that directory as a `.desktop` file regardless of its extension. Versions 0.14.1 and 1.0.1 contain a patch for this issue. |
| Path traversal may lead to arbitrary file deletion. The score without
least privilege principle violation is as calculated below. In
combination with other issues it may facilitate further compromise of
the device. Remediation in Version 6.8.0, release date: 01-Mar-25. |
| A vulnerability, which was classified as critical, was found in NUUO NVRmini 2 up to 3.0.8. Affected is an unknown function of the file /deletefile.php. The manipulation of the argument filename leads to path traversal. It is possible to launch the attack remotely. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. The identifier of this vulnerability is VDB-258780. |
| JVC VN-T IP-camera models firmware versions up to 2016-08-22 (confirmed on the VN-T216VPRU model) contain a directory traversal vulnerability in the checkcgi endpoint that accepts a user-controlled file parameter. An unauthenticated remote attacker can leverage this vulnerability to read arbitrary files on the device. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal') vulnerability in GE Vernova WorkstationST on Windows (EGD Configuration Server modules) allows Path Traversal. This issue affects WorkstationST: WorkstationST V07.10.10C and earlier. |
| Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ('Path Traversal'), Missing Authorization vulnerability in Innorix WP allows Path Traversal. This issue affects Innorix WP from All versions If the "exam" directory exists under the directory where the product is installed (ex: innorix/exam) |
| A vulnerability has been found in Jehovahs Witnesses JW Library App up to 15.5.1 on Android. Affected is an unknown function of the component org.jw.jwlibrary.mobile.activity.SiloContainer. Such manipulation leads to path traversal. Local access is required to approach this attack. The exploit has been disclosed to the public and may be used. |
| Booked Scheduler 2.7.7 contains a directory traversal vulnerability in the manage_email_templates.php script that allows authenticated administrators to access unauthorized files. Attackers can exploit the vulnerable 'tn' parameter to read files outside the intended directory by manipulating directory path traversal techniques. |
| A vulnerability was identified in shsuishang ShopSuite ModulithShop up to 45a99398cec3b7ad7ff9383694f0b53339f2d35a. Impacted is the function JwtAuthenticationFilter of the file src/main/java/com/suisung/shopsuite/common/security/JwtAuthenticationFilter.java. The manipulation leads to path traversal. It is possible to initiate the attack remotely. The exploit is publicly available and might be used. This product is using a rolling release to provide continious delivery. Therefore, no version details for affected nor updated releases are available. |
| The Player Leaderboard plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Local File Inclusion in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.2 via the 'player_leaderboard' shortcode. This is due to the plugin using an unsanitized user-supplied value from the shortcode's 'mode' attribute in a call to include() without proper path validation. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to include and execute arbitrary PHP files on the server, allowing the execution of any PHP code in those files. This can be used to bypass access controls, obtain sensitive data, or achieve full remote code execution if combined with file upload capabilities. |
| Netgate pfSense CE Suricata Path Traversal Remote Code Execution Vulnerability. This vulnerability allows remote attackers to create arbitrary files on affected installations of Netgate pfSense. Authentication is required to exploit this vulnerability.
The specific flaw exists within the Suricata package. The issue results from the lack of proper validation of a user-supplied path prior to using it in file operations. An attacker can leverage this vulnerability to create files in the context of root. Was ZDI-CAN-28085. |
| The Data Tables Generator by Supsystic plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to arbitrary file deletion due to insufficient file path validation in the cleanCache() function in all versions up to, and including, 1.10.45. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Administrator-level access and above, to delete arbitrary files on the server, which can easily lead to remote code execution when the right file is deleted (such as wp-config.php). |
