| CVE-2017-8810 | 2 Debian, Mediawiki | 2 Debian Linux, Mediawiki | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| MediaWiki before 1.27.4, 1.28.x before 1.28.3, and 1.29.x before 1.29.2, when a private wiki is configured, provides different error messages for failed login attempts depending on whether the username exists, which allows remote attackers to enumerate account names and conduct brute-force attacks via a series of requests. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17844 | 2 Debian, Enigmail | 2 Debian Linux, Enigmail | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. A remote attacker can obtain cleartext content by sending an encrypted data block (that the attacker cannot directly decrypt) to a victim, and relying on the victim to automatically decrypt that block and then send it back to the attacker as quoted text, aka the TBE-01-005 "replay" issue. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7703 | 2 Debian, Wireshark | 2 Debian Linux, Wireshark | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Wireshark 2.2.0 to 2.2.5 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.11, the IMAP dissector could crash, triggered by packet injection or a malformed capture file. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-imap.c by calculating a line's end correctly. | ||||
| CVE-2017-7746 | 2 Debian, Wireshark | 2 Debian Linux, Wireshark | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Wireshark 2.2.0 to 2.2.5 and 2.0.0 to 2.0.11, the SLSK dissector could go into an infinite loop, triggered by packet injection or a malformed capture file. This was addressed in epan/dissectors/packet-slsk.c by adding checks for the remaining length. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9064 | 2 Debian, Wordpress | 2 Debian Linux, Wordpress | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In WordPress before 4.7.5, a Cross Site Request Forgery (CSRF) vulnerability exists in the filesystem credentials dialog because a nonce is not required for updating credentials. | ||||
| CVE-2017-5193 | 2 Debian, Irssi | 2 Debian Linux, Irssi | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The nickcmp function in Irssi before 0.8.21 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (NULL pointer dereference and crash) via a message without a nick. | ||||
| CVE-2017-5202 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Tcpdump | 9 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |

| CVE-2017-5208 | 3 Debian, Icoutils Project, Redhat | 9 Debian Linux, Icoutils, Enterprise Linux and 6 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Integer overflow in the wrestool program in icoutils before 0.31.1 allows remote attackers to cause a denial of service (memory corruption) via a crafted executable, which triggers a denial of service (application crash) or the possibility of execution of arbitrary code. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17847 | 2 Debian, Enigmail | 2 Debian Linux, Enigmail | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. Signature spoofing is possible because the UI does not properly distinguish between an attachment signature, and a signature that applies to the entire containing message, aka TBE-01-021. This is demonstrated by an e-mail message with an attachment that is a signed e-mail message in message/rfc822 format. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17848 | 2 Debian, Enigmail | 2 Debian Linux, Enigmail | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| An issue was discovered in Enigmail before 1.9.9. In a variant of CVE-2017-17847, signature spoofing is possible for multipart/related messages because a signed message part can be referenced with a cid: URI but not actually displayed. In other words, the entire containing message appears to be signed, but the recipient does not see any of the signed text. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9403 | 3 Canonical, Debian, Libtiff | 3 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Libtiff | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In LibTIFF 4.0.7, a memory leak vulnerability was found in the function TIFFReadDirEntryLong8Array in tif_dirread.c, which allows attackers to cause a denial of service via a crafted file. | ||||
| CVE-2017-9468 | 2 Debian, Irssi | 2 Debian Linux, Irssi | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| In Irssi before 1.0.3, when receiving a DCC message without source nick/host, it attempts to dereference a NULL pointer. Thus, remote IRC servers can cause a crash. | ||||
| CVE-2017-3737 | 3 Debian, Openssl, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Openssl, Enterprise Linux and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| OpenSSL 1.0.2 (starting from version 1.0.2b) introduced an "error state" mechanism. The intent was that if a fatal error occurred during a handshake then OpenSSL would move into the error state and would immediately fail if you attempted to continue the handshake. This works as designed for the explicit handshake functions (SSL_do_handshake(), SSL_accept() and SSL_connect()), however due to a bug it does not work correctly if SSL_read() or SSL_write() is called directly. In that scenario, if the handshake fails then a fatal error will be returned in the initial function call. If SSL_read()/SSL_write() is subsequently called by the application for the same SSL object then it will succeed and the data is passed without being decrypted/encrypted directly from the SSL/TLS record layer. In order to exploit this issue an application bug would have to be present that resulted in a call to SSL_read()/SSL_write() being issued after having already received a fatal error. OpenSSL version 1.0.2b-1.0.2m are affected. Fixed in OpenSSL 1.0.2n. OpenSSL 1.1.0 is not affected. | ||||
| CVE-2017-3539 | 3 Debian, Oracle, Redhat | 15 Debian Linux, Jdk, Jre and 12 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Vulnerability in the Java SE, Java SE Embedded component of Oracle Java SE (subcomponent: Security). Supported versions that are affected are Java SE: 6u141, 7u131 and 8u121; Java SE Embedded: 8u121. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via multiple protocols to compromise Java SE, Java SE Embedded. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized update, insert or delete access to some of Java SE, Java SE Embedded accessible data. Note: This vulnerability applies to Java deployments, typically in clients running sandboxed Java Web Start applications or sandboxed Java applets, that load and run untrusted code (e.g., code that comes from the internet) and rely on the Java sandbox for security. This vulnerability does not apply to Java deployments, typically in servers, that load and run only trusted code (e.g., code installed by an administrator). CVSS 3.0 Base Score 3.1 (Integrity impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.0/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N). | ||||

| Crash in libmysqlclient.so in Oracle MySQL before 5.6.21 and 5.7.x before 5.7.5 and MariaDB through 5.5.54, 10.0.x through 10.0.29, 10.1.x through 10.1.21, and 10.2.x through 10.2.3. | ||||
| CVE-2017-17405 | 3 Debian, Redhat, Ruby-lang | 13 Debian Linux, Enterprise Linux, Enterprise Linux Desktop and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Ruby before 2.4.3 allows Net::FTP command injection. Net::FTP#get, getbinaryfile, gettextfile, put, putbinaryfile, and puttextfile use Kernel#open to open a local file. If the localfile argument starts with the "|" pipe character, the command following the pipe character is executed. The default value of localfile is File.basename(remotefile), so malicious FTP servers could cause arbitrary command execution. | ||||
| CVE-2017-13088 | 7 Canonical, Debian, Freebsd and 4 more | 13 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Freebsd and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA and WPA2) that support 802.11v allows reinstallation of the Integrity Group Temporal Key (IGTK) when processing a Wireless Network Management (WNM) Sleep Mode Response frame, allowing an attacker within radio range to replay frames from access points to clients. | ||||
| CVE-2017-11176 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 6 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 3 more | 2025-04-20 | 7.8 High |
| The mq_notify function in the Linux kernel through 4.11.9 does not set the sock pointer to NULL upon entry into the retry logic. During a user-space close of a Netlink socket, it allows attackers to cause a denial of service (use-after-free) or possibly have unspecified other impact. | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000385 | 3 Debian, Erlang, Redhat | 4 Debian Linux, Erlang\/otp, Cloudforms Managementengine and 1 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Erlang otp TLS server answers with different TLS alerts to different error types in the RSA PKCS #1 1.5 padding. This allows an attacker to decrypt content or sign messages with the server's private key (this is a variation of the Bleichenbacher attack). | ||||
| CVE-2017-1000410 | 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat | 13 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 10 more | 2025-04-20 | N/A |
| The Linux kernel version 3.3-rc1 and later is affected by a vulnerability lies in the processing of incoming L2CAP commands - ConfigRequest, and ConfigResponse messages. This info leak is a result of uninitialized stack variables that may be returned to an attacker in their uninitialized state. By manipulating the code flows that precede the handling of these configuration messages, an attacker can also gain some control over which data will be held in the uninitialized stack variables. This can allow him to bypass KASLR, and stack canaries protection - as both pointers and stack canaries may be leaked in this manner. Combining this vulnerability (for example) with the previously disclosed RCE vulnerability in L2CAP configuration parsing (CVE-2017-1000251) may allow an attacker to exploit the RCE against kernels which were built with the above mitigations. These are the specifics of this vulnerability: In the function l2cap_parse_conf_rsp and in the function l2cap_parse_conf_req the following variable is declared without initialization: struct l2cap_conf_efs efs; In addition, when parsing input configuration parameters in both of these functions, the switch case for handling EFS elements may skip the memcpy call that will write to the efs variable: ... case L2CAP_CONF_EFS: if (olen == sizeof(efs)) memcpy(&efs, (void *)val, olen); ... The olen in the above if is attacker controlled, and regardless of that if, in both of these functions the efs variable would eventually be added to the outgoing configuration request that is being built: l2cap_add_conf_opt(&ptr, L2CAP_CONF_EFS, sizeof(efs), (unsigned long) &efs); So by sending a configuration request, or response, that contains an L2CAP_CONF_EFS element, but with an element length that is not sizeof(efs) - the memcpy to the uninitialized efs variable can be avoided, and the uninitialized variable would be returned to the attacker (16 bytes). | ||||
