signal: clear JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for caller in zap_other_threads()
When a multi-threaded process receives a stop signal (e.g., SIGSTOP),
do_signal_stop() sets JOBCTL_STOP_PENDING and JOBCTL_STOP_CONSUME on all
threads and sets signal->group_stop_count to the number of threads. If
one of the threads concurrently calls execve(), de_thread() invokes
zap_other_threads() to kill all other threads. zap_other_threads()
aborts the pending group stop by resetting signal->group_stop_count to 0
and clears the JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for all other threads. However, it
fails to clear the job control flags for the calling thread.
When execve() completes, the calling thread returns to user mode and
checks for pending signals. Seeing the stale JOBCTL_STOP_PENDING flag,
it calls do_signal_stop(), which invokes task_participate_group_stop().
Since JOBCTL_STOP_CONSUME is still set, it attempts to decrement the
already-zero signal->group_stop_count, triggering a warning:
sig->group_stop_count == 0

Fix this race condition by clearing the JOBCTL_PENDING_MASK for the
calling thread in zap_other_threads(), ensuring it does not retain any
stale job control state after the thread group is destroyed. This aligns
with other functions that tear down a thread group and abort group
stops, such as zap_process() and complete_signal(), which correctly
clear these flags for all threads including the current one. |

fs/fcntl: fix SOFTIRQ-unsafe lock order in fasync signaling
A SOFTIRQ-safe to SOFTIRQ-unsafe lock order deadlock can occur in
send_sigio() and send_sigurg() when a process group receives a signal.
When FASYNC is configured for a process group (PIDTYPE_PGID), both
functions use read_lock(&tasklist_lock) to traverse the task list.
However, they are frequently called from softirq context:
- send_sigio() via input_inject_event -> kill_fasync
- send_sigurg() via tcp_check_urg -> sk_send_sigurg (NET_RX_SOFTIRQ)
The deadlock is caused by the rwlock writer fairness mechanism:
1. CPU 0 (process context) holds read_lock(&tasklist_lock) in do_wait().
2. CPU 1 (process context) attempts write_lock(&tasklist_lock) in
fork() or exit() and spins, which blocks all new readers.
3. CPU 0 is interrupted by a softirq (e.g., TCP URG packet reception).
4. The softirq calls send_sigurg() and attempts to acquire
read_lock(&tasklist_lock), deadlocking because CPU 1 is waiting.
Since PID hashing and do_each_pid_task() traversals are already
RCU-protected, the read_lock on tasklist_lock is no longer strictly
required for safe traversal. Fix this by replacing tasklist_lock with
rcu_read_lock(), aligning the process group signaling path with the
single-PID path. This also mitigates a potential remote denial of
service vector via TCP URG packets.

| A flaw was found in the reset-credentials flow of the keycloak-services component, which is the core engine for identity and access management in Red Hat Build of Keycloak. The issue allows an unauthenticated attacker to force the password reset process for any user without needing to click the required email verification link. This can result in the attacker gaining full control over target user accounts by directly setting new credentials. |

perf/x86/intel/uncore: Fix die ID init and look up bugs
In snbep_pci2phy_map_init(), in the nr_node_ids > 8 path,
uncore_device_to_die() may return -1 when all CPUs associated
with the UBOX device are offline.
Remove the WARN_ON_ONCE(die_id == -1) check for two reasons:
- The current code breaks out of the loop. This is incorrect because
pci_get_device() does not guarantee iteration in domain or bus order,
so additional UBOX devices may be skipped during the scan.
- Returning -EINVAL is incorrect, since marking offline buses with
die_id == -1 is expected and should not be treated as an error.
Separately, when NUMA is disabled on a NUMA-capable platform,
pcibus_to_node() returns NUMA_NO_NODE, causing uncore_device_to_die()
to return -1 for all PCI devices. As a result,
spr_update_device_location(), used on Intel SPR and EMR, ignores the
corresponding PMON units and does not add them to the RB tree.
Fix this by using uncore_pcibus_to_dieid(), which retrieves topology
from the UBOX GIDNIDMAP register and works regardless of whether NUMA
is enabled in Linux. This requires snbep_pci2phy_map_init() to be
added in spr_uncore_pci_init().
Keep uncore_device_to_die() only for the nr_node_ids > 8 case, where
NUMA is expected to be enabled. |

f2fs: fix potential deadloop in prepare_compress_overwrite()
Jan Prusakowski reported a kernel hang issue as below:

The root cause is: once generic/475 starts toload error table to dm
device, f2fs_prepare_compress_overwrite() will loop reading compressed
cluster pages due to IO error, meanwhile it has held .writepages lock,
it can block all other writeback tasks.
Let's fix this issue w/ below changes:
- add f2fs_handle_page_eio() in prepare_compress_overwrite() to
detect IO error.
- detect cp_error earler in f2fs_read_multi_pages(). |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
block: mark GFP_NOIO around sysfs ->store()
sysfs ->store is called with queue freezed, meantime we have several
->store() callbacks(update_nr_requests, wbt, scheduler) to allocate
memory with GFP_KERNEL which may run into direct reclaim code path,
then potential deadlock can be caused.
Fix the issue by marking NOIO around sysfs ->store() |
| Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox contains an open redirect vulnerability via the
“replyUrl” parameter. An attacker can exploit this vulnerability to
craft a URL within the application that, when visited, redirects the
user’s browser to an arbitrary third-party site. This can be abused for
phishing attacks, where users receive a trusted domain link but are
redirected to a phishing website. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528.
Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality. |
| Tobit Laboratories AG TeamDavid's Webbox application is vulnerable to HTTP header injection through the
“cType” URL parameter, which allows arbitrary modification of the
Content-Type header in HTTP responses. Because the parameter does not
properly restrict control characters such as URL-encoded newlines
(“%0a”) or colons, attackers can inject additional headers including
extra Location headers into the server’s response. This results e.g. in
an open redirect vulnerability. This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528.
Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality. |
| The Webbox of TeamDavid by Tobit Laboratories AG constructs redirect URLs using user-supplied input,
which is appended to the redirect target in a 302 HTTP response. By
using URL-encoded characters such as “%2e” (representing a dot), an
attacker can manipulate the portion of the URL following the top-level
domain (TLD). If a similar, registerable TLD exists (for example, if
“.com” is the application’s domain, and “.company” is available for
registration), an attacker can craft a URL to redirect users to a
malicious “.company” domain. By using URL-encoded line feeds, it becomes
possible to insert arbitrary response headers in the server's HTTP
response.
This issue affects TeamDavid before Rollout 528.
Starting with Rollout 528 (June 30, 2026), the affected functionality is disabled by default and the vulnerabilities are therefore no longer exposed through this functionality. |

| Chatbot UI contains an authorization bypass vulnerability in the retrieval endpoint that allows authenticated attackers to access private file content belonging to other users by supplying arbitrary file UUIDs. | nebula-mesh is a self-hosted control plane for Slack Nebula mesh VPN. From version 0.3.0 to before version 0.5.0, the nebula-mgmt Web UI host-creation path ignores both the server-wide enrollment_token_ttl security setting and per-network network_config.enrollment_token_ttl overrides. API host creation and token-regeneration paths use the configured TTL resolver, but POST /ui/hosts hardcodes now.Add(24 * time.Hour) for newly minted agent enrollment tokens. In deployments that intentionally reduce enrollment-token lifetime, any authenticated operator who can create a host through the Web UI can still mint a bearer enrollment token valid for about 24 hours. This issue has been patched in version 0.5.0. |
