| Discourse is an open-source discussion platform. Prior to versions `3.3.4` on the `stable` branch and `3.4.0.beta5` on the `beta` branch, someone who is about to reach the limit of users in a group DM may send requests to add new users in parallel. The requests might all go through ignoring the limit due to a race condition. The patch in versions `3.3.4` and `3.4.0.beta5` uses the `lock` step in service to wrap part of the `add_users_to_channel` service inside a distributed lock/mutex in order to avoid the race condition. |
| A flaw was found in the Netfilter subsystem of the Linux kernel. A race condition between IPSET_CMD_ADD and IPSET_CMD_SWAP can lead to a kernel panic due to the invocation of `__ip_set_put` on a wrong `set`. This issue may allow a local user to crash the system. |
| A use-after-free flaw was found in the Linux Kernel due to a race problem in the unix garbage collector's deletion of SKB races with unix_stream_read_generic() on the socket that the SKB is queued on. |
| NAKIVO Backup & Replication before 11.0.0.88174 allows absolute path traversal for reading files via getImageByPath to /c/router (this may lead to remote code execution across the enterprise because PhysicalDiscovery has cleartext credentials). |
| In wlan STA driver, there is a possible out of bounds read due to a race condition. This could lead to local information disclosure with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation. Patch ID: WCNCR00435337; Issue ID: MSV-4036. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
drm/amd/pm: Prevent division by zero
The user can set any speed value.
If speed is greater than UINT_MAX/8, division by zero is possible.
Found by Linux Verification Center (linuxtesting.org) with SVACE. |

| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the
text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
There are two issues related to the mapping of pages belonging to other
domains: For one, an assertion is wrong there, where the case actually
needs handling. A NULL pointer de-reference could result on a release
build. This is CVE-2025-58144.
And then the P2M lock isn't held until a page reference was actually
obtained (or the attempt to do so has failed). Otherwise the page can
not only change type, but even ownership in between, thus allowing
domain boundaries to be violated. This is CVE-2025-58145. |
| [This CNA information record relates to multiple CVEs; the
text explains which aspects/vulnerabilities correspond to which CVE.]
There are multiple issues related to the handling and accessing of guest
memory pages in the viridian code:
1. A NULL pointer dereference in the updating of the reference TSC area.
This is CVE-2025-27466.
2. A NULL pointer dereference by assuming the SIM page is mapped when
a synthetic timer message has to be delivered. This is
CVE-2025-58142.
3. A race in the mapping of the reference TSC page, where a guest can
get Xen to free a page while still present in the guest physical to
machine (p2m) page tables. This is CVE-2025-58143. |
| Jenkins HTML Publisher Plugin 425 and earlier displays log messages that include the absolute paths of files archived during the Publish HTML reports post-build step, exposing information about the Jenkins controller file system in the build log. |
| Concurrent Execution using Shared Resource with Improper Synchronization ('Race Condition') vulnerability in Apache Tomcat when using the APR/Native connector. This was particularly noticeable with client initiated closes of HTTP/2 connections.
This issue affects Apache Tomcat: from 9.0.0.M1 through 9.0.106.
The following versions were EOL at the time the CVE was created but are
known to be affected: 8.5.0 through 8.5.100. Other, older, EOL versions
may also be affected.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 9.0.107, which fixes the issue. |
| A race condition was addressed with improved state handling. This issue is fixed in macOS Monterey 12.7.2, macOS Ventura 13.6.3, iOS 17.2 and iPadOS 17.2, iOS 16.7.3 and iPadOS 16.7.3, macOS Sonoma 14.2. An app may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges. |
| A race condition was addressed with improved locking. This issue is fixed in macOS Sonoma 14. An app may be able to modify protected parts of the file system. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
ring-buffer: Fix a race between readers and resize checks
The reader code in rb_get_reader_page() swaps a new reader page into the
ring buffer by doing cmpxchg on old->list.prev->next to point it to the
new page. Following that, if the operation is successful,
old->list.next->prev gets updated too. This means the underlying
doubly-linked list is temporarily inconsistent, page->prev->next or
page->next->prev might not be equal back to page for some page in the
ring buffer.
The resize operation in ring_buffer_resize() can be invoked in parallel.
It calls rb_check_pages() which can detect the described inconsistency
and stop further tracing:

Note that ring_buffer_resize() calls rb_check_pages() only if the parent
trace_buffer has recording disabled. Recent commit d78ab792705c
("tracing: Stop current tracer when resizing buffer") causes that it is
now always the case which makes it more likely to experience this issue.
The window to hit this race is nonetheless very small. To help
reproducing it, one can add a delay loop in rb_get_reader_page():
ret = rb_head_page_replace(reader, cpu_buffer->reader_page);
if (!ret)
goto spin;
for (unsigned i = 0; i < 1U << 26; i++) /* inserted delay loop */
__asm__ __volatile__ ("" : : : "memory");
rb_list_head(reader->list.next)->prev = &cpu_buffer->reader_page->list;
